Needed something compact but with more space than a 4 by 6 regular diving slate. Fits well in my BCD, lots of room to write and cleans easily with regular pencil eraser. Highly recommend.

Simple, reliable, practical and economical.

Good size slate board with a folding page. Excellent pencil that won't fall apart. Pencil is large enough if you're wearing gloves that you can still handle it. The only down side is the size of the clip. The size of the of the opening makes it difficult to take off of D rings even without gloves on.

My son used it for the first time last week and it worked great. The slate is compact in size and the clip is a nice feature allowing you to attach it to a D-Ring. The pencil is attached to a coil allowing enough length to write and makes sure your pencil won't float away. I really love the quality of this writing slate, but once I used it I had a bit of a problem. The included pencil cannot be wiped off underwater (or on the service really either). After writing one note on the slate about 80 feet down I found that if I wanted to communicate with it any more I'd need to write small or use the other side. The pencil marks wouldn't come off. Tried wiping them off on the surface and even tried toothpaste with no results. I'll have to find a softer graphite stick or something similar to use this in the future. The slate, clip, and plastic cordage are all good to go, the pencil is basically a golf course scoring pencil.

I bought this to clip to my BCD while scuba diving. Quality is good. Pencil works great underwater. No complaints.

Safety 1st! This is a great slate. Easy to use, the arm strap is very convenient. Fun to write silly messages on a dive.

Great! As usual hard to rub off but possible and but that is expected. This is the same one you will find in local dive shops but priced much better here

Cette ardoise est parfaite pour faire passer de petits messages comme le cap à prendre. Seul bémol, on ne pas effacer facilement le message. Mais je le recommande quand même.

I held back from ordering until I read one of the reviews state that the Mr Clean Magic Eraser removed the crayon and that refills were available all 3 available on Amazon. I constantly have ideas in the shower that I've lost due to not having something to write on. Perfect solution!
