Coaching Psychology Manual

I recently took and passed the ICHWC exam to become an NBC-HWC. This is the only book I bought to study from. I did, however, use other sources online like a Facebook study group which had similar questions that were on the exam. This book was easy to use, relatively small so that made it less daunting to study from, straight-forward, and inexpensive. It will continue to be a great resource in the future should I need to refer back to it. I should also state that I’ve been a Health & Wellness Coach for over 15 years and have gotten other certifications, so I’m sure that played a big part in my success. I don’t want you to think, especially if you are fairly new to coaching, that this book will provide every answer you need to do well, but it was definitely an excellent resource.

Learning how to thrive instead of just surviving is the quest for the age of Aquarius. It is time. Today is the day to learn how to become your best self. Health and Wellness coaches can help you get there. This book gives an outstanding framework of how coaches can get up this mountain first to then be able to guide others up the newly blazed trail.

I’m going through FMCA (Functional Medicine Coaching Academy). This text is not required reading. Another health coach recommended it, and I find it to be really well written, very readable, and immediately applicable to real life health coaching in a functional medicine practice.

Want to learn to be a coach? This book is an essential learning tool. The science and Information provided will support your business and your clients. Use the tools provided in The book, and you will gain a process for your coaching.

Great info and resource

I primarily bought the 2nd Ed. because it was specifically referenced for the ICHWC National Coaching Exam material review so having it made studying easier. That said, there are enough differences between the 1st and the 2nd editions to make owning both worthwhile. This spiral bound book offers excellent, concise information to help you put best practices into play immediately in your coaching whether you use it at your initial introduction to various methodologies or use it as a quick 'Cliff Note' for your more thorough research.

I hesitated to buy because of the price but the content is incredible. I bought it to prepare for the exam but I will use this for sure time after time for my own reference and education.
