Are they binding around the waist at all?

Tommy HIlfiger brand has many imitators. There are even videos on you tube how to spot them. Many people who think the product has been cheapened are correct, but only because they are buying counterfeits sold my you know who. It is my understanding that Ama.. has removed some of these, but only under pressure by the federal government. This information can be substantiated on unbiased news sources. Seek and you will find. In the meantime I suggest staying away.

Does anyone know for certain if these are low-rise briefs? Or, are these mid-rise/basic briefs?

I would call them mid-rise briefs as they certainly ride lower than the full rise briefs I normally buy, yet I don'tthink they are low rise skinny mini briefs.
