## Description

The Ranger MUTTs are commercial or utility/RV trailer light and electric brake testers that reduce guesswork and save time by powering each trailer electrical circuit on 7-flat, 6-round, 4/5 pin (#9101) or 7-way round pin (#9102) arrangements. This allows for proper verification of wiring configuration, ground integrity, short circuit and overload conditions, along with electric brake operation and turn signal simulation. Each Ranger MUTT features a water resistant, rugged design and features an internal battery compartment and external 12V power port which can be used as a memory saver, test light supply or trickle charge input.

**Q: Where is the 9102 trailer tester made?**
A: According to Innovative Products of America it is made and assembled in the USA.   My 9102 is used often and works well, a time saver when doing trailer service.

**Q: Does this unit charge the battery that is required for use?**
A: Yes, the IPA #9102 Heavy Ranger MUTT comes with a 500mA battery charger for charging the required battery.

**Q: Does this come with a cable to connect from the tester to the trailer 7-way? If not, is there an obvious one on Amazon that's easy to buy?**
A: No it does not come with a cord. Search Amazon for Phillips 7 way electrical cable.

**Q: Does this check the ABS light on trailers?**
A: since abs on a trailer is run on the auxiliary power wire and the last position of the dial on this box says auxiliary i would say yes. has anyone checked it in that position?
