Perfect Colour Palette Gorgeous Wool
It's just gorgeous if you have the write pattern. Try the hypnotic tiles afghans on youtube. It taking getting used to but the wool is perfect for it and result is also gorgeous. It's magical to work with. I would like to know if a thick version is made. Caon Cakes also comes in a bigger size called Caron Cakes Big which is even better for never having to change colours. This particular Red Velvet is a the most beautiful of them all with red, bordeaux, beige, light grey, dark grey.

Novice here...
... and I have been teaching myself to knit using yarn bought from charity shops while ive been gaining experience. Bought this and oh my! It feels luxurious and knits beautifully 😍 now I've felt this I realise I've been practicing using some really poor materials. Will absolutely buy more

Not as much odd bleedthrough as others
I do have a love for the Caron Cakes, as it stops me getting bored, due to the change in colours. This particular one, the Rainbow Sprinkles is obscenely bright, but I didn’t experience as much bleedthrough of other/odd random colours as I have done in previous. The only issues I’m finding with the Caron Cakes, which are getting to be a real bugbear of mine, is not every ball starts/finishes with the same colour. Which is a real annoyance when you come to change balls, as it doesn’t “flow” correctly. The other bugbear is they make it really hard to find the beginning of the wool, particularly as I find it easier to start from the middle and work my way out. I literally have to take the whole middle section of colour out, in order to find the end. This should be easy to find or should be sticking up. May not be an annoyance for others, but it is for me. This makes for a really nice throw/blanket, by using some white and pink to break up the pattern a little. Out of all of the ones I have reviewed so far, this is one of my favourites, simply because there was t as much bleedthrough. You may need to wear sunglasses however, while crocheting.

Lovely to work with
So pleased with this yarn. It was lovely to work with (I used a 6.5mm crochet hook) and I was really happy with the finished result. Very good value for money too. I'll be using this brand again I'm sure!

Not the colour expected but still lovely
I used the wool to make a crochet dragon pillow for my son. There wasn’t any green as the picture implied so a little disappointed at first however, the quality is really good to work with & the finished item was well received so I brought more to make a matching blanket.

Highly recommended with good price!
Lovely year, easy to slide, and I only found 1 knot in one ball. I made an infinity loop scarf for my friend and that took me one ball of yarn cake (200g) and just a bit of a second (because I wanted a larger loop so it doubles when wearing it)
