I have used or reviewed a lot of WiFi light switches or power switches and they all suffer from this sooner or later. In MOST (but not all) cases the fix is simply to turn off your WiFi access point for 10 seconds and then on again. After a minute or so (depending on your WiFi settings) everything should work again. Not ideal, but you usually only need to do it every 2-3 weeks. Not sure of the reason, but I think it has to do with TCP/IP address lease times in a DHCP environment.
