I had been buying it from a TV shopping channel where I paid more money. I have fine hair with little volume, even though I wear it short. This product although technically a texturizer gives me enough volume to do anything I want with my hair. It is intended to be used after blowing your hair dry and so I can wash my hair before bed and use it in the morning. I use more immediately after a wash than I do in between washings. It isn't sticky or tacky. It reactivates itself after the first day so little is needed. It also has ingredients that act as a dry shampoo. I only have to wash my hair once each week. This is great because I also use a semi-permanent hair color which washes out over 36 shampoos. I have tried many expensive products at the hair salon where I get my hair cuts and nothing works as well for me as this product. However, the real magic happens on day 2. When I wake up on day 2 and look in the mirror and feel like my hair looks terrible and only a shower will save me - I apply this again and suddenly I'm back to exactly where I was on day 1! Wow! Its not exactly dry shampoo - so I can't go a 3rd day without super oily roots.
