Great travel rollator.
20240605 Able Life Space Saver Rollator, Lightweight Folding Mobility Rolling Walker for Seniors and AdultsI purchased this walker as a lighter, smaller alternative to the Drive Nitros I use most of the time for a 30+ day trip we were taking. This walker is light, very easy to fold and small when totally folded. The latching strap to keep it folded is very nice.We were on a cruise ship for 27 days and in and out of buses and taxis, and the walker was very easy to deal with and store in all the vehicles. I really like that when the walker folds it gets narrower and it is easy to partially fold it to get through tight spaces. We were in several European cities with cobblestones, and this is a real bone shaker due to the small wheels. It would also jam on the stones and abruptly stop when the wheels got stuck. Learning how to deal with the very uneven cobblestone areas took a bit of practice.I have traveled with the Drive Nitro several times, and this is a MUCH more convenient walker to use while traveling. The Drive with the bigger wheels does a better job on cobblestones but in all other areas the Able Life Space Saver Rollator does a better job when travelling.Oh, one more item, I am 5 feet 6 inches and the handles would not as high As I would have liked. It was useable but a taller person should keep that in mind. The Drive Nitro is easier and a bit more stable, with a better seat, so it will stay my walker when I am home, but this was a great walker to use on our trip.

Great Design, Very Practical for Travel
These days my husband uses a mobility scooter to travel longer distances and doesn't use his old rollator walker any more because he needs to rest often. However... it will be awkward and a little risky to bring a scooter on a plane for an upcoming trip to Mexico. Scooter-rental prices at our destination are high and logistics of delivery and pickup would just make the trip more stressful. And the typical tourist sites at our destination are not necessarily scooter-friendly nor can most of the tour operators and taxis easily accommodate a scooter. This rollator folds easily for the plane trip, then can fit into any taxi trunk/storage area for transport. During our tours and excursions, he can sit and rest on the seat of the rollator while the rest of us wander. He could never expect his old, heavier and bulky rollator to be so flexible.Even though it looks and is relatively lightweight, it is much sturdier than it looks. It is put together well, welds look good, and it seems a great deal of design thought was put into this product. The rollator is a breeze to unfold and fold. The handle that collapses the seat/rollator doubles as a carry handle, though we find the rollator has to be carried high to keep it from hitting the ground. Wheels just glide along (we shall see on irregular surfaces) and the brakes work well. When sitting, though the seat depth is narrow, the seat is good enough to get off your feet, especially since the back sling offers support. The "parking" brakes work well--same concept as other rollators--and keeps the rollator from moving. The rollator is easily height-adjustable; my husband is 5'9" and could add plenty of additional handle height, if needed, on the standard-height unit.We purchased, separately, the Stander replacement basket organizer that hangs under the seat. Though it doesn't seem to be available on Amazon, it can be purchased elsewhere. It's nice because it folds and unfolds along with the rollator--no need to remove. So far, we are very happy with this purchase--and the price makes it even more desirable.

BUY IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Buy it! I had been struggling with knee pain for weeks, and after seeing four doctors and getting Xrays and an MRI, finally found out I had several things wrong with my knee including a torn meniscus. During that time, I'd caved in and bought a cane, which helped to relieve some pain, but I was very slow moving using it. (And I also used it in the wrong hand until I decided to google how to walk with a cane! I am typically a fast walker, and love to be able to do that, and it was frustrating, even once I started usingit with the correct hand .) My knee pain continued to get worse to the point of keeping me up at night, so I bought a regular two-wheeled walker. I hated it almost immediately. I had to lift the front with every step, and though I ordered something for the back so it would glide, I ended up ordering this walker even before the glides came. And I LOVED IT IMMEDIATELY! I had spent hours reading reviews of soooo many walkers. I am pretty sure this was the most expensive one which is why I kept shopping and kept reading. I finally chose this one because of the light weight AND the simplicity of folding, storing, transporting and carrying it! I needed one that I could walk through grass, and parking lots, without slowing down, or getting stuck. And though I didn't know it at the time, other reviewers mentioned they loved it because they could squeeze it smaller to go through smaller doorways, and though I didn't understand how simple and necessary that was, believe me, you will love that too! Though there was another walker that had caught my eye, and I kept switching back and forth as I read reviews and looked at photos, it didn't fold up as small. I studied picture after picture to be positive that this was the one that would only be 12 inches x 12 inches, and lightweight enough to easily carry. AND IT IS! (I am 75 and could carry it a short distance with one hand if I needed to. Admittedly, two hands are easier, just wanted to say a person could use one hand if necessary.) The best thing about it is that I can walk as fast as I want, wherever I want, and go through any doorway without stopping, and that it easily fits it in the back seat or front seat! It has already been worth every penny! I no longer hesitate to go to the back of the grocery store for milk! What a luxury! The seat is comfy enough too, though in the photos I had wondered about that. And if you are only getting a few things you might not ever need a cart at a store. Or if you do, use it to get to the carts, then put it in the cart, and you still have room for whatever you want to buy! Oh! Save yourself some time looking for a way to have your phone etc. with you. I shopped for well over an hour to find a way I could carry a water bottle and a wallet etc., and still be able to fold it quickly and simply, and found "GEARV 2 pack cup holders" on Amazon! They are absolutely perfect. So I wouldn't waste the hours I did in trying to find something else, at least not right away, because these work so good one would think they came with the walker. In fact, the walker company should include them! (My only regret is that I would've preferred the blue color of this walker. I could not find it the night I bought this grey one, and unfortunately happened to see it within a day or two later, but didn't have the heart to return it. Sooo if you want a colored one, search a while longer, and it just might pop up.)

Wow
I have a really nice heavy rollator but I figured it would be difficult to take to Europe on vacation. This one is delightful and exceeds my expectations. I am short so the size is just right for me. I am amazed at how compact it is when folded. The weight is really a plus, too. It will be easy for my husband to carry when going up steps or boarding a tour bus. The wheels glide smoothly and it steersBesides the travel features it is really easy to fold and unfold. The seat is very important to me because I need to sit down frequently. The seat is not as comfortable as the one on my big walker but it is quite adequate and reasonablely comfortable. I did purchase a cup holder and now Iโm ready to go!As much as I love the big walker, I suspect it will be retired and maybe rehomed. This new walker is very solid and stable. I ordered a cup holder to put on it and now it s perfect for me.

it takes some getting used to
hyper sensitive wheels. Even though my upper body is fully functional, it felt unsafe at times, like it would roll away from me or I couldnโt always control it. Would not recommend for those with stability or dizziness issues or at risk for falls. However, good and smooth for walking and heavier (at 15lbs) than any other walker or rollator Iโve used, which helps with staying more stable on uneven ground (didnโt feel like I would fall over if I hit a bump - just had to learn to use the handbrakes pretty often). Folds up more compactly than a typical rollator but not the most compact walker out there. (Even tho it has 4 wheels I refer to this a walker in this review, not a rollator). No issues taking in and out of an SUV or car, but could not do so with one hand like my other more compact and lighter walker (at 7.5lbs) with no seat from Walgreens.I felt uncomfortable sitting on the seat for longer than 45min, probably because the back strap isnโt all that supportive. So, considering the 4 wheels (too rolley like it controls me and not me controlling it?); the weight providing stability; and, even though it fit behind the driver seat without trouble, itโs not being as compact as other walkers for picking up and fitting in super tight spaces (or being โout of the wayโ); I havenโt found one perfect assistive device for everything. I use a rollator to ferry things around the house (but it is a beast to get in the car by myself), and I alternate between this heavier walker and my lighter walker when I leave the house depending on where Iโm going and what i need to do. If I know the terrain is smooth and there will be seating at the destination I use the lighter one, but if Iโm not sure what the terrain or destination will be like, I use this walker to be safe.I havenโt had this Able Life walker long enough to comment on durability of the wheels, brakes and joints., but I would hope for the price itโs worth it! At least it was less expensive than itโs Stander look-alike. ;)

reat item. Very sturdy. Collapses down small. Very easy to handle.
I bought this for my eighty eight year old mother, because she and her squad, all need to put walkers in the back of her nissan rogue. There's only so much room in the, and they're quilters, so they need to save lots of room for fabric when they go to shophops. It's a great item. Very sturdy. Collapses down small. Very easy to handle.

I bought this for my mother. She is only 4'11' and I am just over 5'. We find this lightweight rollator is very easy to lift and it fits at the back of the car. My mother walks with more confident. We picked a pink one and it is very stylish. We love it.

Sturdy, light weight, collapsable and provides seating. Very pleased with this purchase.
This is my second experience with a walker. My last hip replacement was 12 years ago. I so wished I had this product instead. It's sturdy, lightweight, collapsable and provides seating. Folks are stopping me in the hospital to ask about this walker, especially when they see me using it for seating. Happy to recommend this product.
