## Description

Product description RELAX AND ENJOY YOUR FAVORITE ALBUMS With our best vinyl record weight. as nothing compares with the feeling of placing a pristine record on the turntable and that exciting sensation of the needle going thru every single song. it’s easy to listen to music on a computer or another way, but the beauty of vinyl is really unique. * The bubble level helps you to check if the turntable is balanced so that adjustments can be made in time. * Tachymeter tape helps you to check whether the speed of LP records is normal or not. Glossy black/gold/silver finish looks attractive, stylish, and cool, great for audiophiles, DJ users, and vinyl fans.

Review: Made At Least One Warped Record Playable - This record weight / "clamp" is beautifully made and finished. It rotates on perfect center, the bubble in the top dead steady, and stays out of the way of the cartridge when it skates into the runout area of the record. This is an absolutely perfect "utility" accessory for my budget audiophile turntable. Yesterday, I played a record with a distinct "bow" in it that I bought used. It flattened it enough that I was able to play it well enough to transcribe it to digital. Without the record weight, it was unplayable. Does it improve the sound of other "flat" records? Well, not to my ears, but at this unbelievably reasonable price, it squarely falls into the "can't hurt" category. Assuring better contact between the record and the platter mat has been an accepted improvement in the audiophile community for ever. There are hundreds of available variations of this item, some with outlandish claims and one purportedly made of exotic African Mpingo wood that costs $4800! Yup, that's not a typo. So, in my opinion, if you like playing vinyl and don't have a record weight and believe that it may help and certainly can't hurt. this Viborg one is functional, beautiful and effective. And, it comes in different finishes to match your turntable.
Review: Simple Improvement for a Moderately Priced Phono - Although I greatly prefer CDs to vinyl LPs, I lately have decided, considering the waning popularity and availability of CDs, that I may need to turn some attention again to records, both old and new. I own a modestly priced turntable of good overall build and sound quality, but its housing is made primarily of cost-saving plastic, rather than of a more vibration-insulating material such as hardwood, granite, or composite. Thus, any small, easy modification I might make to reduce ambient feedback can produce big results. Recently, I added four rubberized cork feet, which reduced the more obvious distortions from nearby components and furnishings. However, believing my turntable capable of even better sound, I purchased this VIBORG LP628B SPINDLE WEIGHT (with built-in bubble leveler and strobe scale) on a whim, and I'm glad I did! I just placed this VIBORG over the spindle, directly onto the LP, to work its simple magic! // At 280 grams of weight, the VIBORG provides just the right support to banish the more subtle forms of unwanted vibration. My results include much tighter, more accurate bass - rather than a sloppy, overwhelming "flood" of it - and subsequent improvement of focus among the all-important midranges and highs. However, the weight is not excessive; it places no strain on my belt-drive system. // Interested? You should be! The VIBORG LP628B may be the simple, inexpensive little change your vinyl collection needs to make your good music sound even better! This particular model also features a green bubble window in the center to aid in turntable leveling, and a strobe scale to test rotation speed. Besides all these benefits, this shiny black spindle weight just LOOKS COOL spinning atop a shiny black LP. It's a "win-win-win-win-win"!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How is if that this really helps**
A: This is a quality piece that helps hold your vinyl record firmly on the turntable. Better coupling gives you better sound reproduction. It also has a bubble level to confirm position.
A true value , especially if you have a good turntable.
Hope this helps. May God bless.

**Q: Recently purchased this and it does not fit under the dust cover on my atlp60. anyone have a solution for this or an alternative weight?**
A: I agree with the reviewers that stated that you are better off with the dust cover off! I would consider myself an audiophile to some extent, but that's because I'm a black sheep audiophile... I don't always agree with what the majority of so called audiophiles! I have film and audio engineering degrees, have been into and have played music for 40 years, been in studios, have made a few EPs and actually did a lot of my own home recordings back in the day when Tascam used to make the 424 4-trk with 4 simultaneous track recording! And I'd also like to believe that I've got a fairly decent scientific background, I've also got some electrical background and most important out of all..... I've got common sense and a good ear, which all audio sound boils down to whatever you think sounds the best to you, no matter what anyone says or writes about in audiophile magazines! We don't live in a perfect world, OBVIOUSLY, and the majority of us do not live in perfect environments with perfect equipment and so on! MOST IMPORTANT... WHAT SOUNDS GOOD TO YOU! But as far as your puck goes, if it's too late to return it, you can spend more money on another one, if you want to and can afford to drop another $20-$25 on a decent one.... if I were you, I would play my records WITHOUT the dust cover.... unless you have dust and animal hair or something like that flying around your place on a constant basis, you don't need the cover on during play and like other reviewers have mentioned, and what I also agree with, is the cover may add extra vibrations and micro sonics that could be transferred through your tonearm! And if you are really concerned with the dust cover, they actually sell a tonearm with a little brush on the end that you mount to your plinth and it is set to rest nicely in front of your cartridge/needle and what it does is brushes the groove out just as your needle is about to read the information that is pressed into the groove! So there's many options that you can choose from, but the vinyl stabilizer that you have is a very nice piece and instead of spending the money on a new one, I would personally spend the $25 on the extra arm with the brush on the end and that's actually cleaning the groove about 0.02 seconds before your needle hits that part of the groove and it works just like the tracking on your TT and stays in front of your needle the whole way! Unless you live in the middle of a construction site.... I honestly don't see any reason for playing a record with the cover on! Thank you and hopefully I gave you a more reasonable way to look at the situation?!

**Q: Does it sit perfectly dead center on the platter?**
A: It does on my turntable because the spindle is dead center. I really like this record clamp. Wish I'd had it years ago.

**Q: Will this reduce skipping on brand new records?**
A: I have found that skipping on brand new vinyl is from crap still on the vinyl after pressing. I clean every new record before playing and this has eliminated 100% of the skipping issues I had prior.
