Winsome Element 2-Piece Bar Stool Set, Black, 29"

This pair of Winsome Trading Inc wood bar stools at 29” tall were exactly what I wanted: a classic simple design, easy to assemble and sturdily built. The flat pack arrived with all the parts and hardware needed to assemble the two bar stools. Also included was a surprisingly decent hex wrench (thank you Winsome Trading). I pulled out my own Phillips screw driver and a second hex wrench to complete the assembly of both stools in about 40 minutes. At first my arthritic hands found it hard to grip the lower crossbar when using the hex wrench to tighten the hex screw. However by using two hex wrenches at opposing ends of the crossbar I was able to easily complete the task. Once assembled the stools seem to be quite sturdy with all legs at equal length and wobble free. I look forward to years of use.

Great quality, and very well built! We bought these for our kitchen to sit at the island, and they are made much sturdier than they look. Putting them together was very easy, and they come with plugs to cover the screws for a nice finished look. The seats are varnished well with what appears to be multiple coats. The only thing I would like to see is pads on the legs, but we used the stick-on felt furniture pads and that worked great.

Given the low price, I was expecting marginal quality. What I received was a sturdy, well-made set of stools! Assembly method is well thought out and robust and they went together very easily. The finished product is perfectly square and sturdy. Hardware is not of the highest quality (soft steel) but not a problem since it attaches to wood. As with any screw into wood, be careful not to overtighten. I also added a drop of wood glue at every joint so I expect these to last.

These stools fit perfectly under my kitchen island and match really well with my space, so I was happy with how they looked overall. They come as a set of two and were pretty easy to put together and they are pretty study, considering my toddler moves them constantly and likes to stand on them to look out the screen door. The only downside for me is the comfort. The seats are on the smaller side and straight wood, so they’re not the most comfortable to sit on for longer periods of time. They work fine for quick seating or occasional use, but if you’re looking for something more comfortable or with a larger seat, these might not be the best option. Overall, they look great and do the job, just not my favorite in terms of comfort.

These stools are amazing, solid wood, and well made. I purchased 2 about 2 years ago and loved them so much I bought 4 more, but higher.

Nice

I have had this same style stool for years and they have held up very well. I bought new ones for my new house. They look the same as the old ones, but the legs are wobbly. We have tightened them up twice and I still do not feel safe sitting on them. It seems the screws are not long enough or their holes were not drilled correctly. The wood parts seem OK, it's just the assembly parts that don't seem to fit.

I just needed a cheaper option for bar stool type seats at our ikea island and these work great. They were SO easy to put together I think it took me maybe 10 minutes, very sturdy, and look good! I could see them lasting/ holding up for quite a while. For what they are and how much it was for 2, I give them 5 stars you get what you pay for but they are actually solid and aren’t going to break on you. As far as comfort goes, it’s not the most comfortable but you can find a round cushion top for these.

These stools were easy to assemble, extremely sturdy and well worth the price. They arrived early, were packaged extremely well. Very pleased with the quality.

Having a hard time installing it; The bottom isn’t even and the chair keeps shaking; Nails kept falling off from the chair in daily usage; In sum, total waste of money.

These stools are a great value. They are real wood and well made. The Color was off, not quite as described. Mine are more reddish than espresso. Overall worth purchasing.

Tabourets de très bonne qualité. Installation facile. Très solide. Les barres transversales sont très pratiques pour servir d’appuis pour les pieds. Personnellement, le support pour les fesses auraient pu être un pouce de diamètre plus grand. Comfortable.

Good size and looks nice but the screws regularly fall out.
