General Purpose Masking Tape

This tape is absolutely fantastic. I love it and I am buying more

I find many uses for masking tape. I go out of my way to purchase the 3M 2020 version. It seems to me to be stronger and less likely to tear when pulling it off the roll. Highly recommend the 3M 2020.

I will have to purchase the 2+" size of rolls now. I use Masking Tape for MANY uses...

I usually would not review something this basic, but this is actually surprisingly good masking tape. holds a clean line, lightweight and comes off fairly well, also tears really clean off the roll

The tape is old and it doesn't peel off of the roll easily and rips and tears while you're trying to peel it off of the roll. When you look at the side of the roll, you can see various places where the tape is separating from the rest of the roll. It's just very old tape. Couldn't use it - a waste of money.

Tape tears when you you unravel it.

It's tape. It sticks to things. When I pull on it, it comes off of things. I use it for labelling and to stick things to other things. It is wider than I expected, but that is because I guessed at the size I wanted instead of measuring. This does not impede my ability to stick things to other things. If you are looking for tape, this is what you want. It is checks all the boxes. I love how I can write on it to label things so I know what each thing I've stuck together is. I would worry that soon, my whole life would be one giant stuck-together mass, but it peels off very nicely too, so things I no longer want stuck together do not have residue on them. I like this tape.

We got these to tape plastic to the floor during a home renovation.When we took it off, there was no residue at all, unlike the normal duct tapes.We are glad we bought these, they are definitely worth it and saves you the effort of cleaning the tape remnants.Plus the quantity is so much that we have a lot of it left.And due to the amazing adhesion, I can even use it as a normal duct tape to seal packages.If you are looking for similar properties from a tape, go for it, you'll love it too.

I had to buy this product due to the very cold air drafts in my windows. It was used to tape winterized plastic for my windows, including the small window in my bathroom.It's been 3 months and the tape is still attached to the frame and plastic. It does not rip the paint nor leave any residue on the walls. Great product :)

it is a little tricky to get off the roll without splitting the tape length ways....but once you get it started if you roll it off very carefully you will see it works fine, Sticks and stays in place and easy to remove when ready.

The tape does what it's supposed to, it's good for painting. I use this tape to keep pee pads (for my animals) secure to my wood flooring though, and the strong odor could really deter some animals. Just something to keep in mind if you're not actually using the tape for painting.
