V3 365nm MINI Black Light UV Flashlight

When I first received my light I had issues with the charging circuit. I contacted the company and Seb from UVBeast quickly resolved the issue. It is rare these days to see a company stand behind their product. I will definitely buy from them again. Now onto the light itself. I have never owned a stand alone UV light, I have only had lights with UV as a secondary function. Wow what a difference. It illuminates items from across the room. Looking at things like money, drivers license, and passport, I was able to security features I've never seen before. Also you can easily find stains in the kitchen, bathroom, and on carpets even from a distance that are invisible to the naked eye. I haven't tried using it for Scorpion or rock hunting, but with the distance this light has, I think it would do well for that as well.

This is a very nice black light. I am a rock collector, a glassblower who works with UV and glow colors and glue that sets under the correct UV frequency. I also create art using resins that require UV light to harden and this light works great for all of these at a nice small portable size. It also works really well for charging blacklight things and for taking pictures of any of your UV reactive items. The nice thing about it is that it doesn't make the whole thing wash out in a purple color, it actually more just stimulates the UV or glow characteristics without the purple color change that other wave lengths do. This is a great purchase, trust a pro here

I needed a UV flashlight for my vacation home in the desert, to be aware of scorpions. This light does not disappoint! After researching, I learned that it’s at the perfect wavelength for making little critters fluoresce. The light is bright. It has a solid, weighty feel in the hand. Best part is that it’s rechargeable by USB-C.

I think a lot of people believe there's doesn't work or stops working when really it's just a DOUBLE CLICK to turn on and one to click off. Very smart to prevent children from turning it in the damaging (permanently) their eye. My problem with it is they don't just just tell us the wattage of the lamp and the writing obfuscates it to the point that AI thinks it's 0.5W. that can't be right. Final beef is it's one of these products I'm seeing more and more of lately they are extremely picky about the voltage of their USB charger.. This thing wants about 5V and any more or less will not charge the battery. At least that's my experience. The positives: lasts longer than any of the 10 or so UV flashlights I have. In that regard and in the regard it emits the more powerful 365nm instead of the relatively weaker 395nm, it is also a beastly little medium sized torch.

This light is amazing. Battery lasts longer than expected, light weight easy to carry. Color of UV light is superior to the cheap lights you see.

Purchased this to use in identifying American Brilliant Cut Glass with Manganese content. Powerful enough to use in lighted indoor conditions. No more finding a dark corner, or covering a piece to create dark conditions. Weaker 365 blacklights, see last photo for comparison. Also works for detecting in EAPG, and Uranium glass.

If you are searching for pet urine on your floors or scanning for scorpions in your backyard, I will not recommend this because the beam is too narrow. I bought a Lumenshooter S3 365nm for the same price (actually less with a promo discount), and it performs much better with its 3 LEDs. It is not 3 times better but it definitely has a wider beam with larger coverage and a slightly brighter output. For situations where a wider beam is beneficial, the Lumenshooter is hands down a better flashlight. The photos show the Lumenshooter on the left (larger beam) and the uvBeast on the right (smaller beam). One photo looks much brighter than the other because I used two different camera exposure settings for comparison. I do prefer the USB-C charger with the uvBeast V3 365nm mini. The single LED also consumes less power and should have better battery life than the Lumenshooter (they both have one 2600 mAh battery). I’ve also read that the battery included not the Lumenshooter is poor quality, but it can be easily swapped out. The only other thing I’ll say is that the on/off button on the uvBeast is too easy to accidentally turn on and off by barely touching it. It does not require to be fully depressed until it clicks. I think the unit I received has a defective button. The Lumenshooter has the same on/off button, just different color, and it works much better. I don’t want to accidentally turn it on in my pocket and get a uv sunburn on my leg without even knowing it.

La verdad es, que nada más tenerla en la mano se nota la calidad de la linterna. Alumbra bastante bien y lleva una pinza en el cuerpo que es fácilmente desmontable. Lleva también un landyard que también es desmontable sin problemas. La única pega que le pongo es que el cargador viene con la toma americana y yo estoy en Europa. Por lo que o compras un adaptador o pones una toma de aquí en el cable USB. Me ha parecido buena compra y estoy bastante contento con esta linterna.
