Looks and works as needed.
This case looks the part with its window and RGB fans, everything fits neatly and the routing of cables and cooling pipes is both easy and tidy, with the MSI video card lighting up, the fans (plus an extra rear extractor ) lighting to add to the aesthetics of the case design, all in all, very happy with the quality and the design of this sensibly priced gamers case. SSD are nicely tucked away in a discreet back panel where they are cooled and out of sight. No worries about room to fit extras, or wanting to add top fans, or even the size of your video cards, this case will house just about anything and do it with style. The noise level from the front fans is virtually none existent, and very quiet from a rear fan, if you want to add two top RGB fans (the control will accommodate several extra fans with RGB connectors already waiting) Then the noise will depend on fan quality, but thats a personal choice of course. Well made, well designed, wholly recommend. The only fault if any (have to give one to be fair), is the lack of ability to house a Disc drive, but for how rarely one is needed by any gamers today a simple external usb drive sorts that out and they are as reasonably priced as internal drives lately.

Best case I’ve ever bought (had a few)
Very happy with this case. Good ergonomics and thermals and it’s quiet enough and looks good to boot. Not a single cut or scrape installing all the gubbins either. Fit a 7900xtx no problem. Went air cooled for the first time in quite a few builds and the chunky air cooler also fit nicely. Very solid glass panel, no flex. Very happy with build quality. I did initially think they had cheaped out on screws but they were taped into one of the drive 3.5mm enclosures. The enclosures feel a little flimsy but seem fine once a drive is bolted on.

A bit on the cramped side.
This is a nice case if you do not have a lot of cables. A 750w PSU was a very tight squeeze into the boxed off compartment that divides the space under the floor. Add a couple of drives and a 3060 GPU and your're just about in a position where it all fits. My problem was that I bought a corsair water cooler that came with a LED panel of its own. Finding space for this and its own fan controller left no room for the case's own fan controller so my son got an upgrade and I went for a larger case. Although there are spaces for two HDDs (in a compartment) and two SSDs (screwed to the back, which is a nice feature), I would be hard pushed to find space for the cables. It is a very solid case and is attractive to look at. Keep in mind that your PSU will be hidden, so if you are a fan of LEDs on your PSU then you won't get to see them. Despite my gripes, this would be good for an average user and it fits well on my son's smaller space.

Amazing case
MSI have thought of everything with this case. It comes with 4 ARGB fans, PWM and my BIOS can set a fan curve for them which works perfectly. The case has an ARGB controller tucked away at the back which you can plug extra fans into which is nice to keep them all in sync. I liked that the USB front panel C connector was ready to go, I have seen other cases in this price range want to charge extra (£15 or so) for a USB C front panel lead which I felt was very stingy and made me pick the MSI Gungnir instead and I am very glad that I did. Lots of room for cabling at the back and the case just looks and feels high quality. Front panel RGB button is also nice as I don't want RGB software on my PC, just press a few times on the front panel and you will find an RGB setting that you like. Well done MSI!

Spacious yet not oversized!
This review applies to the MSI MPG Gungnir 110R in black; be sure to check what model you're looking at before reading this review! I bought this case based on a number of factors; the glass side, the ARGB fans, the front (top) IO ports, and the interior space. This case ticked all those boxes by far! The glass side panel has no mounting screws on the side, only the rear like a standard panel, which is excellent for keeping a clean look. It's also padded around the edges you don't mark the glass as it slides on or off. As standard, this case comes with 4 120mm ARGB fans, preconnected to a hub controller. These fans simply need connecting to a motherboard "sys_fan" header. The mobo I fitted had 5 headers, so I could connect each fan individually for greater control, but this case does come with a splitter so you can link the 3 front fans to 1 header - pretty smart thinking by MSI. I ought to mention the hub controller isn't well described in the manual, so a bit of deductive reasoning is needed to ensure it's plugged in and working! Front ports are often overlooked on a case yet can play such vital roles in how easy it is to use peripherals with the PC. The inclusion of a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port is great (providing your motherboard supports this, check with the manufacturer if unsure!) as it allows easy connection for USB Type C based external devices, such as portable HDDs, VR Headsets, phones/tablets etc, without needing to get around the rear of the case. The two USB 3.2 Gen 1 are also a bonus, as most cases simply fit standard USB ports to the front, and the fancier ones at the rear, thanks MSI again! As well as the IO ports, this case also features a multi-light loop button, that allows you to quickly cycle through several RGB colour settings for connected RGB devices (specifically the 4 fans, but anything else connected to the hub too). Pretty nifty for changing things up on a whim. As components get bigger and better it's easy for them to also become more unwieldy. Larger GPUs might pack more punch, but also require more space - not just for the physical fit but also for sufficient airflow. The neat design of this case allows for those larger components without compromising that all important flow of cool air. The HDD/SSD bays are accessed from the other side of the case, neatly tucked below the metal shelf, and alongside a large bay for the PSU. With no space for front facing devices like DVD readers or audio panels, MSI have created quite a sizeable cavity for those bulky components. In my build, I have an MSI B550 ATX motherboard with a rather long MSI RTX 3060Ti (3 fans!) and that fits with nice room to spare. The case is also designed with cable management in mind, with many spaces to thread cables behind, and a large number of "loops" to thread cable ties or cable clips through. I wasn't going for a particularly showy build, but I'm pretty pleased with how neat everything all looks! Overall, this case meets and exceeds my expectations. It's functional, stylish, impressively well planned out, and seems designed to meet future needs for a while. It also comes in a modest size, only marginally bigger than my last case, which had no cable management or ergonomic design at all! PS: Don't forget to register this case (if you buy it) on the MSI website for easy support should something not go to plan!

Nice looking case and easy to build in
I really like the look of the case with the tempered glass side panel and half of the front panel. This case comes with 4 ARGB fans which was fantastic and they look great. The case is good quality and easy to build in. The cables for the front panel and the fan cables were all neatly organised inside and ready to connect up. There is a USB-C port on the front panel as well as 2x USB-A which gives you some nice options. The top panel has a nice wide vent covered with a magnetic mesh panel. The spacers for different sizes of motherboard were very stiff to screw out and screw back in if you need to move them. But it's not too bad! Really happy with this case and would recommend!

Great stylish case
Excellent case, very easy to assemble, comes with lots of fans all with RGB colours so you can make everything look pretty. Also got the MSI AIO cooler which fits this case very nicely. Nice access to power, reset and some USB ports on the top of the case. You can download the MSI software to customise the fan colours and view the fan RPM's if you want.

Best Case I've had so I bought two
Bought the MSI 110R & M, Its beautiful. Cable management is easy, The ARGB controller is very helpful I was able to daisy chain 6 additional Lights that all sync with Mystic lights. The 110M doesnt have ARGB functionality out of the box so my son had it for his board that didnt support it anyway , I was so pleased with the design that I also bought the R Went with MSI as its a brand I know and most of the build is MSI , everything fits perfectly, Case fans are quiet would definitely recommend.
