UPDATE: IT Died 5 months after received! THE BEST DARN SLOW COOKER/COMBO!
EDIT: Received Dec 6, 2022 and died May 16, 2023 - 5 months of minimal use and it's on its way to the city dump! Was great while it worked; but, will replace with another brand. I've had many slow cookers and have never been satisfied until now. So far, this one has made perfect Chicken and Dumplings, a great Pot Roast as well as Ham Hocks and beans and never had a problem with temperature control maintaining a perfect slow boil. The air fryer did a great job with chicken bites and fries - crispy, not soggy. Finally, I have to brag about the grill, it's been used to grill New York Strip steaks to perfection several times and chicken thighs perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside. At 79 years old. I have finally found the perfect Slow Cooker for me and would definitely recommend it.

You will love this slow cooker.
I had a West Bend slow cooker for many many years, I decided it was time for a new one. I like the style of this one. I would rather use this slow cooker than the stove and it's a lot cheaper. There are so many recipes out there; one pot meals and the cleanup is easy. You won't be disappointed. Price wise is was only $10.00 more than my first one, which was around 30 years old.

Love it!
I love this slow cooker. I use it 4 or 5 days a week because it simmers leftovers to perfection without drying them out. Ive cooked whole chickens and roasts too overnight. I love it has warm, low, medium and high. It sits on my countertop easily. Cleans up like a breeze! No sticking. I never use my old crockpot anymore.

Started out great....
We had a slow cooker which, after several years of service, reached the end of its life. It was a West Bend as well. We bought this in January 2024. Out of the box, everything seemed great. My wife likes to use a slow cooker when she makes soup, peas and such. Foods that have a lot of liquids. In a month, she probably uses it three times, at most. So we're talking about less than 24 uses total for this appliance. After the first month, the non stick coating began to bubble. Keep in mind, soups, peas and such. The hottest the inside bottom of this pan, or whatever you call it, COULD get, is 212ยฐF (100ยฐC.) Why is the coating bubbling? It really shouldn't be. Maybe it's the thermal difference between the heating portion, across the 3mm (maybe 3, could be less) thickness of the pan? Today, she made some soup. I did the dishes tonight. It was literally one coffee mug, two soup bowls, and a bit of silverware. I didn't soak anything. I just washed them. The "pan" was the last thing I washed. As I am rinsing it out, the edge of the pan cut my thumb. My hands hadn't spent any time in dishwater to soften the skin, making them easier to be cut. When I say "cut," I'm not talking about a cut that gushes blood. It's very similar to a paper cut. To be fair, if something happens to have the potential to cut, it finds me. It's just been that way my whole life. My parents went to plastic cups and Correll plates and bowls because they got tired of having to take me to the ER for stitches. When I was in college, I worked restaurant. My nickname was "Mr. Ginsu," because I had to get stitches so very many times at that job. Anyhow, the bottom line is, I definitely would not recommend buying this appliance.

Easy to us _Love it
well made, love the style, plus I like the fact it is NOT digital, and can be set by turning a knob on low , med or high , can be put on stove, or in an oven , comes with a carry case , it heats up well and cooks evenly, the top pan can be removed to use as griddle for hamburger, eggs, pancakes, grilled cheese, bacon, etc, Easy to use, and works great. I have had a few others but always go back to this one, I love it-

Multi-use slo cooker, with fabric carrying case! And it can be a griddle!
Purchased this West Bend SLO Cooker to replace my 40yo one that has finally stopped heating evenly. It is lighter weight, especially the pot and glass, and while the same capacity as my older one, this one is longer as well as shallower. The glass lid is flat, so it makes it even shallower still, which was a problem today in roasting a 7# pork shoulder. The lid would not stay down on one end, so it has a 6# weight on that end keeping the lid shut! Iโll need to be mindful of that in the future. It seems to be cooking just fine and the stainless steel color is attractive. It had the added feature of a griddle, which the cooking surface can be used as, and came with its own fabric carrying case which makes it nice to transport, and keep foods warm while doing that. There is also a separate snap on lid to use for storage in the pot. The settings on he dial are clearly marked, and I think it was priced appropriately for what you get!

Best slow cooker ever- Way better than the heavy old crockpots!
I've bought a few for gifts, as this one was also, and I own one myself.. Worth the money- big time!!! It's not heavy and awkward like huge crockpots are, it's so lightweight that if you drop it, the worst that will happen is a chip in the enamel perhaps or tiny dent, not a huge shattered ceramic/clay pot all shattered all over the floor or breaking your toes if they happen to be in the way- ouch! Cleanup a snap with the non stick interior. Great for anyone with limited hand strength/arthritic issues. The shape makes it easy to slide on a fridge shelf taking up way less space than an old crock put. Plenty of room inside and they even come a bit larger if you want a roomier one. I can't say enough positive things about it, and they seem to last forever. What more can I say!

Stay away. Finish peeled with less than 10 uses
We have used this product less than 10 times. Unfortunately the finish has peeled and started bubbling. The unit also clicks very loud when on warm so is annoying. Product looked nice and transports well when bringing a dish to a party but with finish peeling itโs just not worth the risk.
