Yes that’s what I use it for, completely gets rid of chafing! The only thing I’ve tried that’s worked

Will one liberal application last for the duration of a marathon?

It might - depends how sweaty you get. I have found that a liberal application to the boob undercarriage lasted me for a 7k run or a 14 he ward shift so it is quite good - but not done a marathon! One thing I would say is with this particular seller you only get 1 tube for the price - there are other sellers on Amazon that sell 2 tubes of this size for just a quid more so it’s worth checking. The 2 tubes in the picture on this page are somewhat misleading.

How often do you have to re apply through the day and can you use it when wearing black?

It depends on what you’re doing, the most I’ve had to apply is twice in one day. I’ve worn black cycling shorts while applying and haven’t noticed any white marks or anything.
