Review: Best pork scratchings I have ever had! - I was so happy to find both gluten and msg free pork scratchings, I thought because of that then there might be a compromise in taste. Not at all. Maybe I have to add here that I love garlic, but I tried all the flavours of these and liked the garlic ones the most. They are so tasty and more - ish. There were 'scratchings' to suit all tastes, thick and crunchy, light and puffy, soft, meaty and all delicious. It's worth the extra money to have no lurking nasties, filler etc and just top quality ingredients and these are an indulgence after all! If I had any slight criticism then it would be that there was a lot of flavour/powder/salt left at the bottom of the bag than you would expect (about 2 inches worth) and that perhaps being a bit more sparing with that and the salt would be an inprovement, but this might just be down to individual taste. I will definitely be buying these again (and again and again) in the future. Review: Waste of money :( - If they were a really lovely distanct taste ... Popular snack in our house. *by L***K on 23 April 2023* These lasted about two days in our house, really great flavour, really nice pieces which will appeal to all fans of pork scratchings, whatever it is about the snack that particulary appeals. The bag they are supplied in is fine, keeps them fresh, stops mess, can be opened with mess but its not the reseal type. The portion size is good, in our house the smaller, bags of "pub snack" or "lunch box" multi-snack type are regularly bought and consumed, quickly, this bag lasted a lot longer and was popular with everyone in the household. Personally, it was great to try the garlic flavour, its not my favourite but its a matter of taste and they do not aggrivate the thirst too much. They are perhaps not the healthiest of snacks, if you are seeking to avoid fats, although they are not sugar rich like a lot of alternatives, and a source of proteins maybe. I have given these four rather than five stars as I thought there was a lot of "powdery" or "small bits" in the bad, even when you up ended it or shook it to mix the contents up a bit before putting them in a bowl. Initially I had thought about giving them the full five stars but I have sampled a rival brand since which did not have quite so much of this content.
