## Questions & Answers

**Q: How much water does it hold?**
A: One US gallon, or 3.7 liters. NOT ENOUGH. 1 gallon is too small for a betta - it cannot be safely heated (and betta are tropical fish! they need a heater!) and ammonia builds up too quickly. I urge you to look at something that is at LEAST 2.5 gallons, or better yet 5 gallons for a beginner. Larger setups are easier to maintain - toxins don't build up as fast and it's easier to keep a stable temperature the more water there is.

**Q: can you take the lid off?**
A: Yes the lid can be lifted off easily. But, there is a opening in the center of the lid for easy feeding.

**Q: Just received my new tank and now im looking for some glass stones that will look great in the tank with the LED lights on- does anyone recommend any?**
A: I used clear & clear blue glass stones in two sizes but to be honest the lighting affect from the 4 led bulbs in the base of this aquarium does not replace a light coming from the top as most aquariums have. I use a small round overhead stick on battery powered led light that I attached to the bottom of my hutch which is directly over my aquarium. I turn it on & off to my liking. It really is a matter of personal taste. You might find that the built in light suits you fine. Good Luck!

**Q: Does this tank come with everything in it that is shown here....such as the plants and pot?**
A: Just the tank and base are included.  No plants or decor items were provided when I bought it.
