Returned boots
Looked forward to receiving the durashocks, they're my all time favorite, lightweigh and comfortable. Couldn't even get the laces through the top pair of eyelets, needed to pull w/ all my strength. Then they were so closed in you needed to loosen them to get them on, at which point the laces would pull out of the eyelets effortlessly. I saw another review stating they had to modify the eyelets and I wasn't willing to drill the hole out bigger or cut the eyelet return w/ a razor knife on brand new boots. Sent letter to wolverine and they offered to exchange them for a different pair. Said Amazon took them back but said they were missing the point. They were importing thousands of boots that were basically unwearable. Asked them to check a pair on their own, that their quality control seemed non-existent. They answered yet again that my pair had a manufacturing defect. Gave up. Won't buy another pair online even though the prices are 30% less.

Love the fit.
These fit better than most boots I have tried. They did have some cracking on the soles and threads coming undo but I wore them everyday for two years so not bad. Too bad they no longer make this model.

Decent boots, but small.
My husband has been wearing Wolverine boots for more than 20 years and ALWAYS takes a 10.5 M. Not sure what happened with these boots, but they were extremely smaller in both the width and length.Had to return them and order 1/2 size up. Thankfully there were free returns with the purchase I made.

My favorite work boots ever
These things are my favorite work boots ever, so comfortable and light-weight for a safety toe. Run a little small because of the narrower toe cup, so order at least a 1/2 size bigger. On my second pair, hope they continue making.

good fit and wears well
These were for my boyfriend. He is a construction worker and is on his feet all day. He says they are comfortable and his feet still feel good at the end of the day. He has had them over 6 months and they look like they are holding up well.

Returned, too narrow for my fat foot.
I really like Wolverine boots and have owned several pair. This was my first time ordering online and took a chance that they would fit. Unfortunately, they are too narrow for my fat foot.

Very Comfortable, good workboot.
First off, I buy an absurd amount of products from Amazon and somehow this is my first review. This is going to be long but thorough.Last summer while working a construction management job I had tons of free time so I decided to find "the best workboot" around. I am an avid product researcher and like to order the perfect item. I spend HOURS researching workboots and there was no front runner. NONE. Here's the deal, the US made workboots are expensive. Minimum wage in the US has caused this problem. US boots are better made than imported boots. But, from what I see, the cost is almost never justified. For example: A $200 pair of US boots will not last twice as long as a $100 pair of imported boots. To be competitive, traditional US brands like Redwing are actually importing more boots than making domestically. Some traditionalists will say, "I'm buying the US made boot, they're better." I'm not one of those. I almost exclusively wear workboots. All day. I work construction management and do a lot of outdoor activities. Anywhere from working in a field, to pavement, to an office, or to a restaurant. I just retired a pair of Timberlan Pro PItt Boss boots that lasted less than a year to my standard (3rd pair). Decided it's time for a change, and a lot love wolverine, the only downside being they might not be quite as durable as other brands. I work in an office mostly, still wear boots, need them comfortable but not extremely durable.Let's start with the cons:The eyelets: Yes, you can BARELY get the laces through them. Sorry to say, but if you're buying a pair of workboots, I would hope one could manage to open them up a bit,and not have that as a deciding factor. Yes, they're tight, fix them and stop complaining. The pros:Composite toe: I'll say it again, "composite toe." I've been wearing steel toe for 4+ years now. I can say that these composite toes add so little weight to the boot. It's awesome I can remain OSHA compliant with these, and not have the added weight. Awesome stuff, great invention. The soles? They're great. These boots have some comfort to them. Very forgiving and it makes a huge difference. Side note, I have high arches and the TImberlands I have been wearing must have good arch support, these don't have as much (not anything that affects everyone) so I ordered some superfeet green insoles for support. The look? They look great and the leather seem to be of good quality.Size? I would say true to size for me. I ordered 9.5 wide and I've never had wide and I wouldn't do it again. They are wider for sure and I don't think I needed it. Lengthwise, they were true to the size I normally wear. I can't pull them as tight as I like because of the extra wide boot. Oh well, they'll work fine as is. So, IMO, true to size, some said otherwise.I hope these boots last the test of time, I'll be monitoring the insoles that I ordered and make sure they remain comfortable. The Timberlands I've been wearing the last few years lost their shock absorption very quickly which is frustrating and uncomfortable.
