Yes, it stinks for a few seconds after you spray it, but it dissipates quickly. It sets my makeup and I do put powder over it because I like a little bit more of a matte finish. I live in southern Arizona where the sun blazes all day, everyday, but I haven’t even gotten a tan using sunscreen base, tinted sunscreen foundation and this setting spray. I know it seems like overkill but my husband has had several skin cancers on his face and I’m just not willing to take the chance. Been using sunscreen all my adult life and I love that even if I’m not wearing the other layers, I can just spritz this on my face, ears and hands and take the dog for a walk or whatever.EDIT: I used this before a long walk and, sadly, it ran into one of my eyes when I sweat. I had to keep my eyes closed and dab it with a tissue for two miles.
