I have 3 mounted above window with video flipped 180 degrees. Settings-Mounting-Rotate Image 180.

Could I mount this in my upstairs window and face outside at my car?

It does work but you need to turn of the status LED and IR. But if you have some streetlights around it will work.

Can I use this as a webcam for video calling with google home hub?

No, it's a security camera not a webcam. You can stream the video & audio from the camera to the Google Hub and use the speaker in the camera to speak to whoever you see, but it won't work for video chat

Can you buy a longer usb power cable

Yes, any micro-USB cable would work with the indoocam.
