Brilliant piece of kit, no steam at all in the shower when used, wiring is simple enough, the bulb is a bright white, so if you're matching to other lights, you will need this info, as it's not stated in the description, so I held off buying other lights for my bathroom until I confirmed how bright it would be. Noise is minimal, performance is excellent, good value for money and easy to fit, couldn't be happier.

Not very often I say this but these air extractors are amazing, and real value for money. I now have four fitted in different rental properties in shower enclosures as the enclosures are such mould-traps. They are so easy to fit, and here's the best way I've found to do it: In advance, screw the fan housing to some plywood off-cut. Make two loops in poly-rope or light chain and attach to the plywood. Add extension cables to the power lead and downlight transformer. Those are the preps, job done. On the day: Cut a hole in the bathroom ceiling and one in the eaves. Fit the outdoor outlet grill and indoor ceiling fitting. Put everything else into the loft space. Put large screws into the ceiling joists and hang the extractor fan. Fit the ducting - make sure the angles are good. Connect the cables to the isolator switch and off you go. On-job installation time about 2 hours, taking it carefully. In use the fans are amazingly quiet, far quieter than the wall or ceiling fitted fans. The bonus is the downlight - it makes the shower enclosure look great. Remember though you need a low power extension line for that as the cable is thinner, and connect it to the same isolator switch. The in-built 10 minute run-on with the fan timer is perfect, so leave it with the standard settings. As you can tell - I'm a huge fan of these extractor fans (excuse the pun)!

Really moves large volumes of air but not as quiet as i expected

Excellent unit, powerful and tractor fan, removes steam so mirrors don’t mist-up - does not require to be on after shower turned off! Really silent running. Light is perfect. Very pleased with overall performance & great value for money.

We wanted to replace our old extractor fan with one with a light in to have more visibility in that corner of the bathroom, the benefit was meant to be the light but the fan itself works so well- when I turn off the shower there is no steam left in the room whereas before it would take time to clear. also because it’s separate to the light fitting it’s so much quieter than the previous fan we had, really impressed My husband’s never fitted anything like this before and he found it all relatively straightforward to do

Great kit, easy to fit

I can’t say this fan is noisier than the wall mounted en-suite one it replaced but, as it’s installed in the loft it can be heard in an adjacent bedroom. Not really an issue now I know what the noise is. It turns itself off after a few minutes overrun.
