The light-motor and siren (beeper) are really key components of this Beginner kit. My son loves to put all lights, siren, and lamps on it. The manual with projects is easy to follow. I, however, need to sit with my son and help him to follow the instructions. Without the help the 4-year old will be frustrated within 30 minutes. As I enjoy circuit boards myself, it's not a big deal for me to spend time on it.
