I love these phones! I had ATT brand for about 8 years and they started having issues. When I ordered these I was visiting my husband at the hospital and for some reason I thought the phones I had at home were vtech so I actually ordered the wrong brand by mistake. When they arrived I almost returned them but I really needed the landlines because cell phones don’t always get good reception where I live and I needed to be able to talk to doctors and my husband at the hospital. They were very easy to set up and program. It only allows numbers it recognizes through and if the numbers aren’t saved in your “phone book” it will ask the person to announce their name and you can accept or reject the call. Funny thing: My daughter called from Texas and I didn’t add her work number to my phone book because I didn’t know it. When the phone rang I saw it was from Texas so I picked it up only to hear it ask her name and her answer was “Jennifer..Wtf???” I allowed the call and she asked if we had a prison answering system now! Cracked me up! Anyway, the phone is GREAT and I would definitely recommend it! Sorry for the long review!

Happy with the performance of the phone. A lot of features that we haven’t fully explored, but so far nice set. The signal distance is fair with multiple walls to get through to our shop. It works but breaks up at times, would likely work much better with fewer wall barriers. Our Panasonic died and that phoned required an extender so this is easier and less expensive.

Just got this cordless set and like it overall but need to point out one design flaw. It allows you to download your cell phone contact list over Bluetooth BUT these entries will NOT be allowed straight threw the call blocker system. You must manually place numbers in the phone's built-in phonebook to allow pass-through. Kinda kills the reason to transfer your cell phone contact list. Otherwise, a good system that greatly reduces BS phone calls.

fast delivery, well packaged, I installed this same phone system for a customer and was completely sold on it , it is amazing, your going to love it, when callers dail your phone number they will hear a prerecorded announcement , you do not have to make the announcement, it says " IF YOU ARE A FRIEND OR FAMILY AND WOULD LIKE TO COMPLETE THE CALL PRESS THE # OR POUND SIGN TO BE CONNECTED, WOW, no more robo calls, any legit caller can be connected but those machine dialers that keep dialing until someone picks up just go away, NO FEE OR EXTRA CHARGES FOR THIS SERVICE, also phone says it has 2300 feet operating range ,not in your wildest dreams, it can also answer your cell phone calls, lots of other stuff, I don't care, I only use my land line for the fax machine, I just love the fact that it blocks robo calls , yeah baby, Enjoy P.S. your phone does not ring unless its a real person pushing the button, the robot call can not do this.....Enjoy

We bought this phone system because our Panasonic (although quite new) kept cutting off people. But the Vtech IS8151 has two real deficiencies. First, there is no way to program the phone system for speed dialing. I searched through the manual and internet and found nothing. Second, there is no way to adjust the phone system for the very loud cell phone ringer when it is hooked up by Bluetooth. The only thing you can do is to turn off the cell phone ringer on the Vtech, but luckily you can still answer the cell phone. These two features are important to me and I'm not sure I would buy this phone system again. Everything else works fine and setting it up was easy (other than the issues I described above).

This phone system is good for land line systems. I had a land line installed my vacation home in the mountains because of no cell service. The system must communicate with the master set over 3 floors. The master set is on the 3rd floor. It really works with no signal interruption. You can also link your cell phone to the system if you have cell service. No cell service then no cell linkage.

I purchased these to replace an old Vtech set (probably 10 years or more!!! The phone itself is much bigger overall and the screen is too, which is great, even though I wasn’t looking specifically for those features, nor remember reading about those. I really looked for another Vtech phone since I was replacing one that I never had ANY problems with them until now ( after using it for at least 10 yrs) I also like that the phone announces who’s on the phone, which is great, if you’re NOT near the phone & can’t see caller ID!! Phenomenal price for this many phones PLUS all of these features

So I ordered this thinking the phone had the features I wanted at a reasonable price. The VTECH phone system worked flausly for 2 months. The Issues started. First messsages were garbled. They seem to record on the answer machine fine. But on the handsets it was like a cell phone cutting out. Then when you go to answer the phone it was garbled same as a cell cutting out. Then it became unusable and the BASE unit could not communicate with the handsets. After about 2 days it reported line in use. So disconnect power from base and then the handsets. Still no resolve. So I ended up purchaseing a new AT&T unit. Amazon only gives you 30 days to return. Even though the warrantee is 90 days but they will not honor it. So after 30 days you are screwed for purchasing this.

La calidad de sonido de las llamadas es muy buena y el bloqueo inteligente de llamadas es algo que sin duda todo teléfono debería tener además el servicio de contestadora automática es increíble (funciona incluso si no tienes contratado un servicio de contestadora con tu operador telefónico), su pantalla es grande y bien iluminada. Solo un par de detalles a tener en cuenta: primero, no es tan fácil de configurar y aunque puedes establecer el idioma español, las funciones “inteligentes” permanecerán en inglés, te recomiendo leer muy bien todo el instructivo. Segundo, la calidad del plástico es regular pero se araña con muchísima facilidad si te interesa la estética del teléfono cuida con que lo limpias. Fuera de eso es sin duda un excelente equipo telefónico y lo recomiendo al 100%.

These are very good. Audio quality is even better than my old VTech set. Fairly easy to set up although I find the call screening feature a bit fiddly to set.

Very poor quality hardware. Almost all the power plugs blew up when connected to a normal 220V supply despite being rated for 110-240V. The quality of the plugs looked extremely cheap and made of very poor quality plastic. Extremely shoddy manufacturing process.

Había probado otros y leído muchas reseñas yaque tuve problemas con el alcance de la señal dentro de la casa. Pero este modelo fue la solución, la señal llega hasta la casa de mi vecina, lo recomiendo.

Hooked all phones in, including cells. Clear conversation. Nice to have them throughout house so you don’t have to carry cell phone around and still use landline
