I think for those that play a lot of speedball, it is probably really helpful, but I found it more of an annoyance for me. I tend to play a lot more woodsball and scenario games, and there aren't a lot of situations where I need to reload that quickly. Generally it is adequate for me to take a minute to find cover while I reload. The downside to having the quick feed is that when I play in rainy conditions, my paintballs get wet. I usually have to switch out for the closing lid if I am worried at all about rain. Not a huge hassle, but given that I don't think it really improves my game much anyway, it isn't really worth it to put it on at all anymore. I still wouldn't fault the product due to my own playing style, but I also find it was difficult to feed at times, and eventually the parts got worn and it didn't stay closed. There are other speed feeds with newer designs that seem more durable to me.
