I installed this on my 2002 Dodge Caravan SE in less then 2 minutes and it works great - no noise and sound is crisp and clear.Highly recommended and pretty good quality. The yellow wire needs to connect to a constant 12v source so I just connected it to the cigarette lighter and closed everything up. Super simple installation, the only tools I needed was a screwdriver to remove my radio and plug in the device - pretty straight forward.JULY 12, 2016 - UPDATE: Still working like new.. however, the tip of the 3.5mm jack at some point was bent and I can see it easily breaking if stressed any further. This might of happened due to the cable (jack plug) being yanked when I dropped my phone or removed it without making sure the jack was completely out (obviously operator error / my fault).Soon after installing this people in the back seat wanted to use it so I bought an Male to Male 3.5 AUX cable and a Stereo Female to Female Coupler to extend the cable (of course you can always just get a 3.5mm male to female extension).I later began to use a power inverter (plugged directly to battery) to charge my electronics and if the cable happens to rest on the inverter while it's on it picks up interference and can cause a buzzing/humming noise.. this can be remedied pretty simply by just moving the cable away from the inverter at least 6 inches. NOTE: This may happen because of the AUX Cable / Coupler setup I have exposes the connectors leaving them uninsulated at the connection points.Unlike other similar devices, I have not heard any interference from other electronics like cellphones or radios causing noises.*** Overall, after using this pretty much everyday for 5.5 months.. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to anyone who can handle taking their radio out of the dash and connecting the power. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, easy to install [Updated] *by P***L on March 16, 2017* Great sound quality! I am running into issues though, as my 2004 PT Cruiser's Anti Theft system is not too happy, since I installed the Stereo Aux System using a fuse in the internal fuse box. Best I can figure the PT thinks something is trying to tamper with it, causing it to shut off the engine. But I can't blame the Aux system.[Update] It appears the problem has fixed itself, I'm going to guess the voltage difference was tripping the Anti Theft system after driving to work today everything works as it should. If others have issues like I did try disconnecting the battery and let your cars Computer reset with the AUX System installed. ### ⭐ Died after two weeks. *by P***2 on June 26, 2017* Worked fine for about two weeks. Then it died, roughly the same day my amazon return window closed. Kinda bummed because it wasn't exactly cheap, but I'll live. I guess I'll see if there's a manufacturer's warranty on it, but I doubt it. Don't get a cheap one.
