Review: This is a pretty handy reference book for field work - This is a pretty handy reference book for field work. It has a little more than 20 pages of equations, and the rest is generally data, and ballpark "rules of thumb." If you own ASHRAE books, it covers most of everything that's in here. If you dont, it's a less expensive alternative for those books, which seems to be the idea behind it. I think it's a little overpriced, but it's definitely useful. I'm glad I purchased it. Very useful if you're in the HVAC world as either an installer, or even a field tech. If you're a mechanical engineer, you probably already have this material in other books.

This is a pretty handy reference book for field work. It has a little more than 20 pages of equations, and the rest is generally data, and ballpark "rules of thumb." If you own ASHRAE books, it covers most of everything that's in here. If you dont, it's a less expensive alternative for those books, which seems to be the idea behind it.
