But this is certain: I went into a store that sells residential sinks/faucets/plumbing supplies & this EXACT sink was priced at just under $1,000!!!! The manufacturing quality, as well as design & look are beautiful! It is insulated, so if something is dropped, it does not "clatter" like a lesser expensive sink. It comes with a S/S grate for the bottom (I'm extremely particular & take care of my things), which is a lifesaver when it comes to cleaning pots/pans, as it prevents scratching. If I could rate this higher than a "10", I surely would!!! **Q: Does this have indented drainage channels on the base of the bowl? Some photos seem to show them, but it's not referenced in the specifications.** A: Mine does not have the channels going to drain, a little slow draining, however most sinks this size, even with the crease probably wont drain quickly. No standing water ever. Big sink, very deep. The rack in the bottom is totally great, keeps everything off bottom, no scratches. Single basin is the only way togo. Disappointed it was made in China, especially when information from website said in was USA made. Bottom line, for price I am happy. Could have bought USA made with bottom rack for $1200. I bought this because the price was much lower then the same item in the showrooms I had visited. When the package arrived I was very nervous as it had obviously been opened and resealed with brown packing tape over the original clear packing tape. The box was slightly damaged and water stained (lite it had been sitting on a basemen floor someplace). I opened it up expecting the worst...but it was in perfect condition. It had the original safety wrapping on the sink.
