A: No. Pantyhose over a metal coat hanger will work almost as well... But doesn't look as professional.

**Q: Will this fit the new hyperx quadcast mic?  it looks like it should but, always worth asking**
A: Yes. It does fit. I bought a Hyperx Quadcast microphone and it fits perfectly fine. I’ve had no problems fitting it onto the microphone.

I bought this for my HyperX Quadcast microphone. It worked great for a few days, but then it snapped. Not very durable, and pretty hard to install, making basically no audio difference. I would not recommend them personally.
