Ranger by Honeywell "Ranger 5"" Rubber Supersized Men's Overshoes, Black (T469)"

Ordered for my husband. He wears a size 13 - ordered a 14 and they fit over his work boots. Came as ordered and on time. Husband says loves them other than they are a little be heavy.

Over the years I have worn many pair of LaCrosse, but they were unavailable in my size and style when I needed a new pair so I decided to try the Ranger brand. Many reviews suggest ordering a size larger than your shoe. However the largest offered is a 16 in US which is my size so that is what I ordered. When I first put the Rangers on, they were a squeeze. I wear them over size 16M New Balance 857s for work. Over the past 6 weeks or so (worn 5-6 days/week for at least an hour a day at work) they have loosened enough to be easier to put on. They remain snug however. Also, they do not quite rise as high toward my ankle as the LaCrosse. Minor difference, but noticable. I wear them in water so it can make a difference when things get deep or I am splashing. The tread is standard rubber boot/overshoe tread. These overshoes do not add any kind of support or adjustment to how my shoes fit which is ideal in my mind. I wear them on concrete and they are showing minimal and even wear on the bottoms. If you want to save a few dollars these are a good option. My next pair will be LaCrosse if they are available in my size. Those feel more substantial, are a bit easier for me to put on, and they rise a little higher around my ankle which helps keep my socks and shoes dry. The Rangers are solid and if splashing water was not a factor, I might stick with them.

Two buckle overshoes are getting as hard to find as the old chore coats. Thank goodness for Amazon! I bought these boots a couple weeks ago and they are great for rain or snow. A bit too big, but well made. Nice to have the old fashion buckles instead of those darned elastic straps that many manufacturers have gone to. I wear a size 13 shoe and ordered a size 13 overshoe. If they were made in a size 12.5, I would send these back. But since shoes and boots don't come in size 12.5, I'll do well with these.

I wear a size 11 work boot and the size 11 overshoe fits perfectly. Works fine with shoes too of course. The clay soil here becomes a sticky mess when wet. The overshoes get heavy and sometimes take some force to unstick when they get mired, but they have never even hinted at letting go of the shoe inside. They have worked perfectly for me. Let the overshoes dry in the sun and smack them together a few times and the dried mud pops right off, ready again for use.

Ordered a size 10 and received a size 13. Disappointed as it was a Christmas gift. The product looks great. But useless as the size difference is huge. They are being returned.

My husband likes the over shoes. Well made, easy to get on and off.

The shipper, Megamart USA, lists free returns. However they charged me $12.15 return shipping when I returned these boots. I bought these boots to go over my walking shoes and they were much to heavy to walk in.

keep them in the cab, in case the job get dirty or it starts to snow, and we have to go to an other inside job. just slip them on no need for the hi boots. these take up less space in a cab, and space is a premium
