Perfect setup for a complete Mobile SIM home wifi setup streaming 4K
This worked perfectly as intended and could not be happier, saving me a fortune. I have created a complete mobile 5G home WIFI setup, which is replacing our home internet and also can be taken anywhere. My setup: 1 x Samsung A22 5G 1 x Belkin USB-C to Ethernet 1 x 30W USB C Plug Original Guttlu Fast Charger USB Plug (powers my phone whilst supplying a solid ethernet connection to my router 1 x SOOPII 100W USB C to USB C with display. I like to see the power wattage going into the phone 1 x HUAWEI AX3 | Wi-Fi 6 Router 1 x Smarty no contract unlimited 5G data (ยฃ16) My Samsung A22 is not updated, so can use band selection (a feature Samsung removed in later updates) so I can have it focus on the least congested 5G bands only to maximise a consistent 5G speed and connection. I use this Belkin USB ethernet adaptor to connect my phone and tether to my router via a high speed Cat6 ethernet cable, and the 30W USB-C Power adaptor to supply a decent charge with a 100w USB C cable. It works perfectly, I read you need a decent Watt USB-C power adaptor for it to charge without draining. I can leave this 24/7 now without fear of the phone battering failing, works perfect. The phone connects to the router via ethernet, and the router shares out a WIFI 6 and 5 dual 2.4 and 5GHZ. Signal is strong and all devices connect with no issues. I also have my phone act as a hotspot, just in case for whatever reason the router reboots, or fails or is a power outage, the phones hotspot will kick in and all devices will revert to that as a backup. This is the complete solution I wanted, and this USB-C Ethernet adaptor was key, it works perfectly, I could not be happier. No contracts and saves me a fortune, can also take this setup anywhere :) Stream 4K no issues! Thanks! Hope this helps someone trying to achieve something similar. I can get a decent 600mbps download speeds on speed tests as a result (will depend how strong your mobile coverage is)

Amazing for Steam Deck
I was having major issues with maintaining a constant, lag free connection while playing Borderlands 3 with my Wife via cross play. I use my deck, sheโs on an Xbox. After using this adapter and connecting via a wired connection and disabling WiFi via the decks settings our connection has been rock solid with zero lag. The steam deck supports charging up to 45 watts, and this Belkin adapter supports up to 60 watts charging, so the battery on my deck will remain at 100% while gaming and connected via this Belkin adapter. This comes highly recommended.

A no-fuss USB C dongle for Ethernet and power passthrough
Purchased to use with the new (2020) Chromecast with Google TV. Ethernet and power passthrough worked as expected. Slightly more expensive than other options and given it's a plastic housing it may not last as long as other metal USB C dongles that are available (if throwing in a backpack to take with your laptop). If you just need Ethernet and power passthrough it's a good option, if you think you might need other inputs in the future (e.g. to plug in a monitor or USB) you may be better off looking at other options.

Allows you to charge phone and use wired ethernet at the same time
I purchased a few USB C to ethernet adapters and this is the only one that worked for me when trying to used wired ethernet with a Samsung phone. This allows me to charge the phone at the same time and provide wired ethernet to it. Once I establish an ethernet connection, I then create a wireless hotspot to use the phone as a wireless router for other devices. The only negative is the product is quite expensive for what it is, but it's a top product and the quality / reliability is excellent.

This will not pass enough charge to a Pico 4
Connecting this to an external PSU via QC3.0 USB-C -> USB-C / PD65W USB-C -> USB-C or standard 5v USB-A -> C will not pass enough charge through to the Pico 4 to allow it to continue running. While the headset was running I tried plugging it in and monitored amperage; While not using the dongle we have ~1.5-2a pushing through to the headset; Enough to let it charge. The second you add the adaptor inline (ethernet plugged in or not) this will drop to ~0.3a and the headset will continue to drain. If you're buying it for this purpose, look elsewhere. I've not tried any others just yet but I've seen people have success chaining some other adaptors. Contacting Belkin I was told "Compatibility issue" because I was plugging it in to something that wasn't a laptop or iPad and essentially told to get my money back from Amazon. Later Edit: I grabbed a "Delock" version of the same adaptor (I had to go via amazon.de though) and it works as expected with good charge pass-through.

Works as it's supposed to
I needed an Ethernet adaptor for my MacBook Pro 16", which inly has USB-C ports - I bought this one as it allows me to power my MacBook at the same time as using Ethernet using the same port. Works perfectly. It gets a little warm but not more than I would expect and I have used it for very extended periods of time without any problems at all. Recommended

Belkin USB-C to Ethernet Adapter
Bought this in order to upgrade my connection speed on my "Chromecast with Google TV" device. However this did not work as the power passthrough was not powerful enough. The Chromecast started up but gave me an insufficient power error and would not load any further. Ended up returning this and purchasing "Cable Matters USB C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter with 100W Charging" which works on my Chromecast great and provides me a gigabit connection I required.

Works well at newest chromecasts
I tried several times to buy a google adapter with ethernet to connect my chromecast with google tv ( both 4K and HD version ) with a ethernet cable in stead of wifi, but that thing is out of stock so I tried this baby and yes, it works well !! BUT, offcourse there is a BUT, the standard power adapter on these sticks in combination with this ethernet adapter gives not enough power. You need at least a 20 watts usb-c power adapter to power this ethernet adapter but then it works like a charm, when you open the chromecast network settings you see a connected by ethernet in stead of wifi connected. When you open the package you see a small adapter with a short usb - c cable, that one goes in the chromecast, at the other end there is an ethernet female and an usb-c female input for your power. So again, this device uses some power and the output isn't enough anymore with the standard power adapter provided with your chromecast with google tv to power it up so you need a 3 amp of 20 watt power adapter, but the result is a much better reacting chromecast. The maximum power inlet is 60 watts.
