Beautiful guitar
I've wanted one of these for years and ran across a sale that I couldn't resist. Plays beautifully, the sound is awesome. My #1 acoustic guitar

It came with visible glue under the bridge, and some pretty serious rattling
I'm going to have to get a warranty replacement. I sure hope the next one is perfect. This is an expensive guitar to have such obvious quality control issues. Now, it's going to cost me time and money to get it replaced, because Amazon locked me out for over a month. Maybe I will provide an update, when I receive a replacement.

Originally was meh but tone has gotten much better with age
I am a Takamine fan. I have an EG530SC acoustic that sounds like a dream. Every time I use it people ask me what it is. But I play a lot of kapo at 3rd and 5th fret and it tends to sound a little twangy at that range. So I decided to go up a level. Several levels. This is a Bruce Springstein guitar, a Jon Bon Jovi guitar. Apparently a new jersey guitar. Anyway, mine sounds fine. It doesn't sound nearly as good as my EG530SC open, but it does sound better in the higher kapo positions. So basically my first foray into expensive guitars has given me something that is technically useable but not beautiful sounding. I will use it for gigs because it is reliable till I find something else, but it isn't something I will sit down with and play and be inspired by its tones to write. It's fine.UPDATE: It has aged well. I'm a few years in and it sounds good. Still not quite as good as my EG530SC without a capo, but it stays in tune and is the one I prefer to use. Would buy again. Changing from a 3 to 4 stars.
