We definitely recommend to anyone who is expecting another bundle of joy! We bought this for our toddler son before his little brother arrived. We would read it every few nights, and he loved it! We really think it helped him understand about mommy having a baby. He would take it to every dr visit with us and show the doctor his " baby book". It helped him understand why mommy went to the doctor alot. It is brightly colored and has pictures that help open up conversation. It does have words on bottom of each page to help explain each picture. It covers handing down clothes to new baby, buying or getting new clothes and toys for baby, the baby moving in mommys tummy, reading baby books, getting nursery ready ( a cute paint scene), mommy going to the dr, getting an ultrasound, even mommy taking naps, as well as big sibling staying with Grandma while waiting for the new sibling! It is a very sweet and special book!
