Works as advertised. I have an 85” TCL qm8 tv and it worked perfectly. Only complaint is quality of the adapter seems cheap but it works and cost of device if it breaks I can eat buying a new one.

Check your TV brand first
Don't be like me and actually read the listing, I bought this for my samsung TV but it's incompatible. I did manage to get a signal so I'm sure it works great for TCL TVs.

Let's Me Watch Old VHS Tapes
I bought this because I had some old pre-recorded VHS tapes that I wanted to watch before i threw them away, and new TVs no longer come with RCA inputs (left + right audio and composite video. My TV does have a 3.5mm input for AV, but I needed this dongle to convert the RCA otputs of the video recorder to the 3.5 mini AV input. I plugged the dongle into the AV input on the TV and then connected standard RCA cables from that to my VHS machine and voila, I am able to watch these old tapes. It just works.

Used, did not work as intended
I have a TCL 55S451. Bought this adapter after other, cheaper adapters failed, and after seeing it SPECIFICALLY said this adapter works on TCL TVs. Had to wait a week longer than expected to receive the adapter. When it finally arrived, I opened the envelope to find a dusty plastic baggy with a clearly used adapter inside. Regardless, I plugged it in, and got the same issue the last adapters have given me. No video, and only 1 channel of audio. I tried all possible arrangements of the plugs, and the best I got was the results shown in the video. Don't waste your time on this garbage. Works just as bad as the $5 adapters, you're just paying for the extra wait time and dust allergies. If anyone knows where I can find an adapter that ACTUALLY works with my TCL model, please let me know...
