Although 3-4 are very similar, these ones are quite proprietary. Yes, I have seen the shortcomings of this design in other reviews and they are somewhat true. What it boils down too, is that if you use the TENS unit that takes 'these' leads, you must exercise more care and handling. I don't want to be too hard on the review for these leads for it was the initial design on the TENS unit that made the leads follow. The really only significant `easy' retool of the leads thatthe manufacturers could do, is make the leads a right angle. This would take much of the strain out and place the leads much out or arms way. All in all, these leads are invaluable and do the trick. I will rate them on their positive attributes and not the shortcomings of the original units design...that is a separate review. For now, these leads are worth the cost. I also want to mention that the seller was fantastic. Although expedited shipping was not available, I explained by desperate need of them, and the company reached out with a professional response and record shipping time. They have a customer for life with me. Again, be care to choose the correct ones when ordering TENS leads for your TENS unit.UPDATE 1: 3-17-12This is my 3rd set (not due to bad cables...just to have extra, in case). These cables are great, but the company is AWESOME. Knowing how important they are to me, they ship them to me ASAP (on thier own) like I am family. I can't say enough! Kudos!UPDATE 2: 4-20-12As I said, these leads are great. I did recently experience a failure. !@#$ happens. I still am confident these leads from this Vendor are high quality! So I contacted the vendor in hopes the units were still under some warranty. I am not the type to try to get something for nothing¡Kso I simply asked if I could swap, return/repurchase or anything. The very next day, my email was returned that I could simply dispose of my defective unit and they would ship me anotherº A++ for customer service. Why should I go anywhere else to but this and related items? Kudos, again!UPDATE 3: 4-21-12Unbelievable! Not only was the warranty customer service professional and commendable...my package came the next day!I'll check there site and may but products that I don't even need!
