I love these ice cube trays. The ice maker in my fridge stopped working (probably long before I moved into my house) and I used to just buy bags of ice on my way home from work to empty into the ice drawer. This has ceased to be viable because the store has shorter hours these days. So I got these. They make a lot of ice, don't take up as much space as more traditional trays. I set them in the back corner of the ice drawer. As long as I always leave at least one in that space, it keeps a place amid the made ice for the whole tray stack. And it leaves me a tray of emergency ice if I run out from not keeping up with making it. Pros: They're easy to fill, and with the lids I don't have to worry about dribbling water everywhere as I load them into the freezer. And again, they make a lot of ice without taking up very much space. Cons: Many other reviewers complain of the trays being flimsy and highly breakable. While I agree that the trays have an insubstantial and even a faintly flimsy feel to them, they way they work, there should be no reason to break them. You can't, nor do you really need to treat them as aggressively as you would more traditional ice cube trays (which I suspect these people are doing) Tips for use: Don't overfill them; remember water expands as it freezes. Slightly under fill them; if you see a mass of water joining the cube compartments after you put the lid on, take the lid off and spill some water out. Don't aggressively bend, twist, or smash the tray on the counter like you might a more traditional tray; gentle flexing, or a lighter firm tap are sufficient. Let the trays sit out a minute before attempting removal. These trays are made to let you push the ice out by pressing gently on the silicone butts of the individual cube cells, and it works really well. As long as you have a modicum of patience, and don't attempt to forcibly remove the cubes by torturing the tray, there shouldn't be any reason for it to break from normal use.

I bought these ice cube trays so that I could freeze my son's homemade purees in cube form. Pros: stack well, get the job done, seem relatively durable. Cons: sometimes it is a little hard to remove the cubes. However, running it under water for a second fixes the problem. The lids aren't super secure. The trays become slightly warped after washing in the top rack of the dishwasher. Overall, I am pleased with these ice cube trays, as they serve their purpose well. Not perfect, but good enough for me!

It looks and work as described! I used it to store baby food for my 9month baby.

I really like the trays and find them easy to use, however, after just a few uses, the silicone has separated from the plastic in one if the compartments. Functionally, their great! I found overfilling, or even filling to the top of each compartment, made cube removal significantly more difficult, but when filled a bit below the top, removal is quite easy. I wait 4-5 minutes after removing from the freezer, then flip them over, slightly bend backwards (not twisting), then push on a silicone back of the cube compartment with my thumbs, and out they come. The colored trays are easier to fill than the 1 all white tray I received because it’s easier to see how full it is, but I might just be filling them in the part of the kitchen that has poor lighting. I have continued to use them, despite the one damaged compartment, and have not incurred any additional damage.

The perfect size for so much. I use them to preserve summer herbs (in olive oil, butter, or water) to use all year long, buttermilk left over from making butter, and left over wine for deglazing in many recipes. They hold about 30 ml, so the perfect size. Once frozen I pop them out into ziplock bags and label them, then they all go into a box in the freezer for when I need them. I love them.

The ice trays are easy to remove frozen cubes, pretty and fit nicely in my small RV freezer. I love that they have lids so that In case something leaks nothing gets into the trays. Also makes putting them in the freezer easier because the lids keep the liquid from spilling out. I feel like the size of the ice cubes are perfect. Not too big and not too small.

I bought these for freezing homemade baby food. The cubes are a nice size, not too big or small. I think they're about 2Tbsp each. I let them sit at room temp for a few minutes before popping out the cubes. It's super easy, I can pop them right into a freezer bag. Barely any mess, no need to run hot water over them. Easy to clean if you use a brush, but not too difficult with a sponge. They feel fairly sturdy, I think they'll hold up for quite a while. Overall a great purchase.

Ottimi. I cubetti di ghiaccio si estraggono in un attimo grazie al fondo morbido in silicone. Il coperchio sigilla perfettamente il formaghiaccio che cosi può essere impilato insieme agli altri nel freezer, ottimizzando lo spazio. Acquisto super consigliato!!!

Ayant a changer de réfrigérateur, j'ai opté pour un frigo double porte et 2 tiroirs congélation ....mais pas d'espace réservé pour les bacs à glaçons ...! donc un tiroir monopolisé le temps que les glaçons prennent et hop un petit tour sur Amazon et j'ai trouvé ces bacs qui s’empilent ...plein de glaçons en peu de place ! de plus très facile à démouler. De plus ils conviennent pour l'alimentaire ( fond de sauce, bouillon de volailles maison, smoothies, coulis et autres !) Bref top ! Je recommande

I bought this set as we have gone through dozens of large ice trays and balls looking for the best ones. The large square one works very well. The problem is the other shape(soccer ball). It just does not seal properly. The top keeps "floating" and therefore I have to use clips to hold the lid down, otherwise you end up with only half a cube. Aside from that, they seem to be working well. It is convenient that you can stack them up and not worry.

Ich habe diese Formen gekauft um Limetten- und Zitronensaft einzufrieren, damit zum kochen oder für Drinks immer was vorhanden ist. Die Größe der einzelnen Würfel ist dafür perfekt. Wenn man beim einfüllen aufpasst, dann friert der Deckel nicht fest. Die Würfel lassen sich dank des Silikons unten super lösen, die Form an sich steht trotzdem stabil. Absolut empfehlenswert!
