Why are you answering a question when you zero car audio knowledge? This is not what you think it is. This is not 8 AWG(American Wire Gauge) copper wire. This is 14 AWG copper clad aluminum wire, keyword being aluminum. I wouldn’t trust this wire for 100 watts. Although BOSS amps are so overrated that it could handle a 1000 watt BOSS because a 1000 watt BOSS amp really only does about 100 watts. You guys are going to start a fire or at minimum the wire will melt. I can tell how many people have said that this wiring kit power wire melted. **Q: What gage is the speaker wire?** A: Do not buy this! The power wire will melt. It’s not what you think it is. It’s not copper and it’s not 8 gauge. It’s aluminum and it’s 14 Gauge power wire, idk what the speaker wire is but that’s aluminum also, not copper and probably 22 gauge. It comes with everything you need to install for most small power amplifiers. As some have indicated, the main power wire has quite a bit of insulation. It is barely 10ga but when I stripped using 10ga setting no wires were damaged but if changed to 12ga some strands get kinked or cut. The terminators are cheap and easy to bend so be careful when connecting or terminating. As said, for the price and for a small amp it is a great kit. I wouldn't recommend for a "show" quality install. The included RCA cables worked fine, no issues and look good.
