Just what I was looking for...
These "SmartSign Magnetic 'C' Channel Label Holders for Metal Racks and Shelves" are brilliant! I use them in conjunction with common magnetic whiteboards on my wall to keep track of daily, weekly, monthly and one-time tasks, projects, to-do-items, reminders and more. I use these holders in conjunction with Brother and Dymo 1/2" labelmaker tapes to keep my life organized and running more smoothly than it would without. Each day, I can scan projects that need to be done and then move the holder to a different area of the magnetic board where "Tasks Completed" are displayed. The Tasks Completed board is cleared every day and I start over the next day, scanning all the remaining holders for which tasks I will take on for the new day. Each of these "SmartSign Magnetic 'C' Channel Label Holders" comes with the magnetic "C" channel extruded plastic holder, two heavy paper inserts to write labels on and a clear plastic cover for the labels. I use the 1/2" size label holders and discard one of the included paper inserts because I use Dymo and Brother Labelmakers with 1/2" label tapes. These tapes fit perfectly in the holders when just one of the included blank paper labels in place, otherwise it's a tight fit. I love the finished and professional look that these magnetic holders have when used in conjunction with the labelmaker tapes. The magnetic holders are reusable and I use them over and over as old tasks are completed and new ones come up. If a task comes up and I don't have the time to create a label and magnetic holder combo, I can just scribble the project directly on the whiteboard with a marker. So, there's no fuss about not being able to create a label in a pinch. When I move each holder/label combination from Tasks to Completed Tasks, then I get a little moment of pride that I got something more done for the day. At the end of the day, Completed Tasks a positioned back in the Tasks section if it is a recurring task, or the label is discarded from the reusable holder to receive a new label for a new task. I used to be one of those people that never gave 5 out of 5 star reviews, because I felt every product had room for a little improvement. I'm not so harsh these days. I buy a product to perform a certain role in my life. These days, if the product meets or exceeds my expectations when I ordered it, that's 5 outta 5! If I got the wrong size or didn't read the product description thoroughly, I have to determine if the failure was on me or the seller. If I still feel it's the seller's fault, I won't write a bad review, I'll just return it. When you order mass-produced products, there are going to be the occasional duds. Manufacturer's are upping their game all the time to make a better product and have the Quality Control to weed out the defects. My experience is that sellers are extremely cooperative about returns, especially if amazon is in the loop. So, I'm not going to slap a product with a bad review, unless the failure of their product or service is clearly a result of the company's poor management culture.

Great for school bus assigned seating
My husband is a school bus driver. He has used these magnetic label holders for the routes where students have assigned seats. It helps keep order on the school bus, and the kids know exactly where they need to be sitting. If he needs to change where a student is sitting, he just moves the magnet. The 'C' channel helps hold the label in place and because they are durable, the names can easily be changed out the next school year.

Great to organize things at a glance
I use these for the metal shelves that I store my home canned goods on. Everything is neatly labeled and able to be located without having to tip the jars. These stick nicely and stay in place. They are large enough to be easily read. If I need to rearrange something they can be taken off and moved to a new location. The labels can also be easily changed to something else.

Good
Purchased for my classroom to let my students mark their lunch preference. The size it as explained, they are decently thick magnets and hold in place very well. Overall very functional, only thing I didn't like about them is that both sides of where the paper goes are open, so I taped over one end so the papers weren't slipping out.

Easy to use and attach to metal
Easy to use and attach to metal shelving. Nice size and easy to write on. Comes with two sheets in each one so you can use for multiple labeling.

Fits Dymo labels
These exactly fit my dymo labels. I use them to identify the drawers of my tool chests. I wish they used a stronger magnet, as they tetendo shift from just the motion of opening and closing the drawers, but they look good and help me organize my shop.
