You need to change the batteries. The battery compartment is at the back of the key board. You just remove old batteries and place new batteries. The key board automatically shuts down if there is no activity for 5 mins to prolong the life of battery. A good multifunctional wireless key board for the cost you pay. The typing effort is least.
