Great product for indoor projects
Purchased for an indoor project as a means of reducing the odor associated with the oil based product. This was the first time I used the water based product. The photos illustrate the finished results on an kitchen island project. The wood pictured is cypress stained with Minwax oil based light pecan. The long horizontal boards (first photo) were pre-stained prior to installing to reduce indoor oil. The polycrylic was applied with a disposable natural fiber "chip" brush. A total of 3 coats was applied with light sanding with fine grit sand paper between the first and second coat. The end pieces (photo 2) were finished outside prior to install using the same process. Overall the product use easy to apply and went on bubble free. Overall appearance after final coat was very good despite using a "disposable" natural fiber brush. Clean up, very easy as the brush was easy to clean with just water. I was able to use the same "disposable brush" for the entire project, and the brush still is in good shape (see photo 3), with little to no residue present. Odor was minimal and did not persist for more than 1 to two days. This is a versatile product for indoor projects. Clean up is easy with just soap and water, much safer for indoor use due to less chemicals. I'm quite pleased with the results, and would expect a "furniture grade" finish if applied with a good quality brush or sprayed. My go to for indoor wood and furniture projects.

Smooth, Durable Finish – Easy to Apply
This is an excellent water-based protective finish. It goes on smoothly, dries quickly, and leaves a really nice satin finish that protects the wood without making it look overly glossy.I like that it’s water-based, so cleanup is easy and the smell isn’t overpowering like some oil-based finishes. It levels out nicely and gives projects a professional-looking protective coat.If you're finishing furniture, cabinets, or other wood projects and want a durable clear coat with a nice satin sheen, this is a great choice.

My Go To Sealer.
My go to sealer. I’ve used Minwax Polycrylic many times on my art creations and so far I’ve never been disappointed. Protects surfaces and seals projects very nicely. I always apply with soft sponge brush or with gloved hands. Don’t overthink applying. Apply thin layers and let dry between each layer. Patients is the key to a perfect finish.

Great quality
This covers well and easy to apply. Doesn’t streak. Not too thick. Dries clear.

The Polycrylic Is White But Dries Clear
This is different than Miniwax polyurethane. This polycrylic is a white liquid that I used on luan plywood walls and I used a short nap roller. The problem with that is rolling it on caused bubbles, which I then had to use a brush to get rid of the bubbles. It wasn't difficult to do. Just one swipe over it remove the bubbles. As much as the coverage on bare wood, it covered as per the label. I put one coat on and waited 2 hours and it dried quickly. I lightly sanded it and than applied another coat. I was happy with the results.

AMAZON IS AMAZING…& SO IS THIS PRODUCT…HIGH QUALITY SEALANT..
AMAZON IS AMAZING…& SO IS THIS PRODUCT…Super happy with this product. Definitely worth the money. I am extremely excited about using this sealant. My Son uses it for his outdoor garden decorations. I am always so impressed with how well they look and hold up to the harsh sun and weather. This sealant is awesome. Comes in matte, satin and gloss. I use satin on my garden lizards and gloss on all my snakes. The amazing quality. Super coverage. Rally hold up well outdoors on rocks too. I have a desert scene and use this on all my repainted garden critters and reptiles. Protects them from fading. Works very well on garden statues. Most of mine are resin, but I also have a cement life size rattle snake and the colors make him pop. So much that at first my mail carrier would not come close to it. It does look realistic, so I can see why she wasn’t sure about him yet. But she says now she looks forward to seeing him as well as all my reptiles. He even brought his family over to see it. I live in Kentucky and miss the high desert we use to live in. So my rock garden with all the desert critters makes me feel at home. Supper easy to use. Clean up is also extremely easy. Odorless too, so I use it in the house on cold days. It's comparability is amazing as well. Coats on at the perfect thickness. Which means everything to me. Especially my smaller lizards. I do not want them to look caked on. LOVE THIS PRODUCT SO MUCH...

Easy to use, durable finish
We had some ugly scars on our dining table caused by normal wear and tear, along with having hot foods placed on a tablecloth without enough insulation underneath. I didn't work too hard to put on a new coat with this polycrylic finish. I just lightly sanded the old finish, lightly rubbed it with some dark wood stain and let that dry. After that, I just lightly sanded each coat of polycrylic and wiped it down with damp microfiber cloths, let it dry, then added another coat. I did this several times (probably about 8 or 9 times) until the topcoat looked smooth enough. It has been about 6 months and is holding up extremely well for us. We're not careless, but nothing seems to bother it and it wipes clean with a damp cloth. It didn't seem to matter that the original finish was not water-based. This sealed it and the old burns are not even visible anymore.

A hardy finish
A fairly good finish

Good
Very good, need to learn the technique of applying because it dries fast and to prevent the foggy appearance

First time I've had success with poly with near perfect finish
This applies extremely well. I had almost no bubbles on my project which is a first. sanded in between coats with a light 420grit sanding.Would caution that it is not the clearest finish I have worked with. This seems to have a coat which darkens timbers only slightly less than an oil based poly. There are other water based polys I have used which resulted in a closer color to the natural wood, however this pales in significance when compared to the quality of the finish

At last, an excellent wood finish
So easy to work with. Tough, excellent finish (satin) no mess. Of all the timber treatment’s this is the most successful I have used.
