what's the maximum weight it can hold?

Not sure. For us with the water and wet leaves it gets really heavy to pull out. The main issue I have with the net is that the pole does not stay extended!

Hi, The TotalPond Skimmer Fish Net's Dimensions: 1.1 x 14.9 x 35.75 inches. The telescopic handle extends up to 64 in. and contracts to 36 in.

Is this fine enough to get sludge on the bottom or just to skim for leaves?

You can use it to skim the bottom but if you go too deep or pick up too much, the metal road will bend.

Do you sell replacement nets?

I personally do not sell fish nets but just recently ordered one fro, Amazon and it was the exact one I wanted and a whole lot cheaper than the same one I purchased from Lowes. I'm not sure which company actually sent the net but the one pictured on this e-mail looks like the one.
