My original motor was still running well after 27 years when it broke one of its mount arms. This caused a banging noise from the blower wheel moving around inside my Goodman furnace. This motor is an exact replacement for my original motor. The only differences are the make & model numbers, the amperage is 0.8A less at 7.0A, the wire’s insulation is thinner even though the wire gauge is the same at 18 gauge, and the motor weighs 0.75 pounds less at 12 pounds 10 ounces. Replacing the motor was simple because all the wires were the same color and had the same connectors as the original motor. The hard part was getting to the old motor to replace it and reassembling the furnace. I took pictures so I would know where all the other wires were connected. When the motor mount broke it damaged my blower wheel, so I had to replace it as well. Now my Goodman furnace/AC is so quiet compared to the original motor & blower wheel before it broke. I wasn’t happy that I had to replace the entire motor because of a broken mount arm, but that’s not the fault of this replacement motor. Other furnace motors (not compatible with our furnace) have replaceable mount arms and cost much less than this motor. I was able to get this replacement motor in two days, which was nice because our house was so hot without the AC working. FYI: The motor we received was sold by Amazon and made by Nidec Motor Corporation (US Motors) in Mexico. Model number is K55HXRBL-1830 (replaces Goodman P/N B1340020). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good motor *by P***R on April 27, 2024* The motor had a slight odor on first run and has a hum every time it starts up but goes away once it gets up to speed.
