Despite these, I bought the light strings.I bought my first string of lights in November. Now, in April, I am buying another set for another project and I am completely satisfied with them.As for tangling, the wires were neatly stored in the box. The tangling came in when I was stringing the lights. It was my own fault. With small, supple wires and lots of lights, you have to be very careful or you will get tangling. If a skein of yarn tangles, I don't blame the yarn.As far as charging and staying lit is concerned, I saw no problems whatsoever. Admittedly I live in Colorado where we get a lot of sunshine. Even when it has been cloudy, the lights have come on and stayed lit all night long. They are still on in the morning before the sun comes up. Of course Colorado also means snow and cold temperatures. Despite these, the lights continue to work as well as they did the day I installed them.They are a beautiful way of lighting our trellis and much easier than trying to run wires from the house. I really reserched pruor to buying these lights. They were a little pricey for only being 100 lights but they are worth it. I have noticed these lights still on at 3:30 am when I got up in the middle of the night. They also come on as its getting dark vs other ones that come on too soon. I dont usually write reviews but since I used reviews to decide on these lights, I decided to leave a review.
