I find it very firming and lasted for hours. I use around the jaw line, on the face of the chin, under the chin and down the neck.I don’t use a lot, only an drop application on each area. **Q: Does this work on dark spots? To answer your specific question, NO it will not! I didn't notice any noticeable difference in pigmentation only temporary firming benefits, plumping and a glow. Your skin will feel tighter, there was no irritation. IMO this product will provide superficial results immediately and does seem to truly plump your skin immediately with lasting results (based on lifestyle). I still use the product for pseudo and plumping benefits. For pigment issues I would highly recommend a pharmacy grade product. The only thing that has truly worked for me that was to put up the money and to see a professional. They usually offer a free consult and tell you what you need to gain your patronage. An aesthetician who works in a medical setting, plastic surgeon office or dermatologist will be able to offer the medical grade products. Sometimes you could even find one of these specialist offering a Groupon or LivingSocial deal. Retin-A and hydroquinone based products have been very effective for me in the past. $50-100. You do not have to use the products daily to see results. In fact they only need to be applied 2-3 times per week to affected areas. The product lasts me 6-9 months. But I don't even need to use it that often to see results. It is the least expensive option in the long run. They work wonders honestly. For real results there is a price tag. As an avid walker and hiker I developed spotting all over my face. You might have luck getting them here on Amazon or eBay for considerably less. Skinceuticals CE Ferulic and Obagi Professional-C Serum are both amazing for protecting your results, but it is pricey. Again most aestheticians are very willing to give a sample to gain a client. I cheated and purchased beckerMDC30x- Ultimate Glycolic Exfoliate and Ultimate ACTIVE Facelift kit (LOVE) and VITAMIN C30 on Living Social (promoting http://www.naturalskinshop.com/) for much less and the results were very good. These products DO seem to help with pigmentation problems. My sunscreen of choice is Elta, Love it! It is available on Amazon and eBay. Finally, I have been using Intellishade Original by Revision Skincare for 1+month and WOW. The results are fabulous, the product claims to fight photo damage, so far so great. Full size it retailed for $39 samples are available online for as low $5 (on Skin Medix.com). The good this is you don't always need to go drastic like plastic surgery or an injection unless necessary to achieve real results. These are topical products that pack real results. I am a face product addict and finding one effectuve ingredient will make me seek out other products containing the same ingredient, hence the reason I purchased Reviva Labs DMAE. Applying this fluid almost has the exact same effect as applying egg whites to your face, it's sticky and eventually, at least somewhat dries on your face and makes it feel like it's frozen in place. Then comes the nightmare, trying to apply makeup over top of this semi dried, sticky mess. It just doesn't cut the mustard, it all balls up and you end up having to wash your face and start over, this time without the DMAE. **Update 10/10/18** I think that had I experimented with this product more, that my review would have been more favorable so, after using this product for quite some time now I absolutely DO see some benefits, especially on my forehead! I use "Frownies" every night to smooth my forehead wrinkles and, in an effort to not make lines look any more pronounced, I do not use any foundation on that area, just a cover stick for a flaw here or there and I notice that this DMAE serium helps in firming that area. I also notice that less is more on other areas of my face and, makeup can be applied over this serum, lightly with a sponge.
