ENERLITES PIR Motion Sensor Switch, No Neutral, 5A/500W, Single Pole, White

So, I was looking for some occupancy switches and originally went with the ones from GE. To be honest, they did not work in any of the applications that I tried. I tried monkeying with them and they directions for setting them did not seem to work. ( The GE instructions talked about turning a rheostat for the timing ... but there were no stops on the rheostat) . I ended up buying some Enerlites Timers and they installed and worked perfectly. Then, I went back (based on a good experience) to get the PIR sensors. They work great!!!! Installed in a few minutes and do what they say. It does not have a lot of the choices (timing, etc) that the other units do ... but they are sturdy and they work. I own GE stock ... but this product is much better made and it works as advertixed.

Detects great, sensitive. If I'm sitting at desk and wave my hand when it goes out, it comes back on no problem. Ok to buy. Been in 6 months now. No issues

Like it so far besides the limited off time options. Why would there not be a 1 min and 5 min. Haven't tried the nightlight feature because it only works on vacancy mode

Motion Sensor is not sensitive enough to detect me fromn8 feet away with sensitivity all the way up.

Works like a champ, I put these in our walk in closets and one in the garage so my wife does not have to open the garage before she gets in the car.

I tried other products of the same type of switches and didn't work out, i decided to tried this product instead because of the reviews i saw , and is exactly what the customer needed, i connected it with the same setting i receive it with, and everything was perfect, I intend to purchase about 50 more , i put my approval in this product.

Great switch for auto switching on/off of lights. Bought 2 of these to automatically light up based on movement. Also bought a further 2 of a slightly different model from same manufacturer but these have in addition to the above and adjustment for light levels

We bought these because our daughter who was coming back from college, has a tendency to leave lights on all over the house which raises our electric bill quite a bit. We decided to try these to put the lights on and off and to hopefully save money on the electric bill. The only problem with the auto on/off setting is our 95lb Staffordshire Terrier kept tripping the light "ON" and my husband and daughter kept getting the blame until we figured out it was the dog! We changed the setting to manual "ON" and auto "OFF" and that solved the problem. It just took us a little while to figure out the settings and what they did as the manual that came with the sensor didn't make a lot of sense to us.

This motion detector switch can be used as a vacancy or occupancy switch. You cannot adjust sensitivity but there are 3 timer settings (15 seconds/test, 10 minutes, 20 minutes). It doesn’t require a Neutral wire which is a good thing because most of my device boxes don’t have one. It does require a working Ground connection. The problem was getting this device to fit in the device box. The body of the switch is huge; almost as big as a GFCI or AFCI. You may want to make sure your device boxes have sufficient capacity before you get this switch.
