LEGO 75033 Star Wars Star Destroyer

I bought this Lego Star Wars Destroyer and the LEGO Star Wars 75030 Millennium Falcon for the kids of my visiting Mexican friends and they loved it. It was fun to see them assembling the 93 pieces of Lego. I must say the resultant toys were very cool and better than my expectations. I would not recommend these Lego boxes to kids under 5 because the pieces are really small, but I would highly recommend it to parents who go to vacations and have to bring with them their 5-9 y.o kids toys. It takes no space and children spend hours playing, imagining, reinventing incessantly incredible adventures. It was good to see my friends and their children happy and having fun together thanks o a few boxes of Lego that would take no space in their plane luggage.

Yes, I ordered it, yes, I got it at a great price, yes I put it together and YEA I flew it around the room making destroyer sounds while humming Darth Vaders' theme. As a 42 year old man, I am proud to say that I enjoyed building and making this gem of an item. Love every bit of it. Wish I could afford the Executor - but as a retired disabled vet I have to go with what I can afford and this was a treat to put together and play with.

I bought 15 of these as a giveaway for my 7 year-old son's Lego Star Wars themed party. It's a fun, education toy that all his friends could put together on their own and it was at a price (about $6) that was well worth ordering instead of buying a bunch of little junkie toys that everyone throws away. The extras I can use as actual birthday gifts with just adding on a little something else (like ice cream gift certificates).

My four year old loves small things and loves Star Wars. He doesn't have the patience or skills to put together the larger sets just yet, but can follow the instructions on these. He is so proud of his Microfighters. We bought our first two at LEGOLAND in Florida and just purchased the remaining four on Amazon. It is a great value when they include a minifigure.

I own the other three original trilogy microfighters (the Millennium Falcon, Tie Interceptor, and the X-wing) and I have to say this is probably the weakest offering of the bunch. This captures the overall star destroyer look fairly well, but the model comes across as poorly-detailed and a bit low-effort on Lego's part, especially considering how striking and cool the other microfighters are. I know it's supposed to be small, but it seems just a bit too small. It's easily the tiniest of the four microfighters, which is odd considering its film counterpart is the largest by far. The minifigure is the best part of the package. The Imperial officer guy looks just plain cool. I'm almost tempted to say the set is worth it just for him, especially if you own the other microfighters, but if you're looking to buy just one microfighter kit, go with the Millennium Falcon instead.

Perfect little Star Destroyer Lego Microfighter. I love the tiny size of the microfighters and this one does not disappoint.
