Perfect for cleaning your air intake. I've used this product for years and was so excited to see I could order it on Amazon! Super easy to use and has a pretty long duration. I usually reapply once the color has faded. I frequently travel so I usually apply it anywhere from 2-6 months at a time. I've never had a bad experience with the brand or product. Customer service is always excellent and they will be more than happy to answer any questions about the application. Usually you will feel a difference in performance, although some vehicles you might not notice at all. But that doesn't mean your oil filter is dirty. I have a big 5.7L hemi that performs greatly after the application of the K&N air filter cleaner.

Worked well for cleaning and re-oiling my K&N air filter.

I have a 2018 subaru impreza. Simply replacing the air filter is easier. But l can say that the k&n filter seems to be a better filter. Cleaning it once/yr is not difficult, but time consuming. I would suggest getting the spray oil instead of the squirt-on oil. That will save u some time. Over time, the cost will be less. Plus, better on the environment because of less waist.

Used on Screamin' Eagle air filter on a Harley Softail. Previous owner had neglected it (hadn't cleaned it and the oil had turned grey); I cleaned and washed it twice without removing everything stuck to the filter (obviously not the fault of the cleaning kit). What I didn't like was that there were no markings on the side of the oil bottle to tell you how much oil you had applied; you have to stick something down in the oil and estimate it that way. K&N's website tells you how much oil to apply for their filters, and I had to estimate what to put on the Screamin' Eagle filter (made by K&N, but the oil amount is not available) based on a similar but smaller K&N filter. Since this was my first time doing this, I am not sure if I put an appropriate amount on or not. If motor oil bottles can have ounce markings on the side and a clear window, so can K&N!

War erst einmal versucht mir die Filter neu zu kaufen. Habe mich dann für das Reinigungsset entschieden. Den K&N ausgebaut und ordentlich eingesprüht. Benutzt bitte hierfür Einweghandschuhe, da das Spray Fettlöser enthält. Eure Hände werden es euch Danken. Danach in der Dusche mit warmen Wasser ausgespült. Junge was für ein Dreck da raus kommt, werde beim nächsten mal nicht wieder 60.000 KM warten. Danach ordentlich abtropfen lassen, bitte nicht auf den Duschrand klopfen, die Rippen vom Filter werden krumm. Danach auf die Heizung gelegt und schön langsam trocknen lassen. Nach der Trocknung das Öl benutzt, war ja klar, viel zu viel, so dass ich über die hälfte in die Papiertücher verloren habe (hatte übrigens mein Vorredner auch gesagt) Mein Tipp, stellt den Filter schräg hin, und gießt das Öl auf die Lamellen und wartet bis es hinunterläuft. Dauert zwar ein bisserl, aber Ihr opfert nicht die ganze Flasche. Das Reinigungskitt langt für zwei Filter, sofern Ihr das Öl wie beschrieben, verwendet. Wichtig vor Beginn mit dem Reinigen: Einweghandschuhe -> Hände Papiertücher -> zum abwischen und abtropfen Zeitungspapier -> Filter darauf lagern Und Spülmittel oder ähnliches -> Dusche oder Waschbecken säubern (Gibt sonst Megastress mit Gattin oder Mutter) Autopolitur als Alternative macht die Dusche oder Waschbecken wieder Blitzblank und bitte nur bei Keramikbecken. Verbundstoff mit Autopolitur = einmal Neu oder Auszug... ;-) Ansonsten viel Spass

Excellent stuff! Does the job as described! It did increase the performance after I gave my induction kit a good wash with this kit. I would like to add one tip, Don't over oil your filter like i did.... I had to get the extra oil out with help of tissue papers. Just a thin line of oil on the tip would do the job as the oil will soak into the filter material and spread evenly! I recommend this for cleaning the filter of induction kits. I would like to mention one thing though, the oil bottle cap was bit loose hence there was oil leakage in the packaging. I had to tighten up the cap. Luckily it was not a big leak. So I don't want to give any less stars as there's nothing wrong with product itself :)
