I mean very hot so I normally run off with one hdmi port - only one monitor connected to it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by T***K on 2 June 2022* I bought another dual HDMI dock a month or so ago without realizing that it relied on MST, which is not supported on Macs. While that one worked fine for separate displays on my Windows laptop (a Lenovo Thinkpad), the two HDMI outputs were mirrored (rather than extended, as desired) when using it with my Macbook. I bought this one to replace it since Thunderbolt should allow it to function as two independent outputs without relying on MST, while it seems plain USB-C cannot. It was a bit difficult to make my purchase decision because existing reviews failed to point out which of the several models on this page they were for, so to be clear, this review is for the Thunderbolt 3 Dock Mini. I am using it with a 2019 MacBook Pro 16". I can confirm that this dock does all it was supposed to do -- both of my displays are now working as intended, and I am able to use USB devices and ethernet successfully on my mac. I will note that when I first connected it, the ethernet adapter failed to obtain an IP address, but this may have been user error. After putting the interface down then up again, I got an IP and it was functional. The only feature I wish this had was charging passthrough. The previous dock (which failed to provide dual display outputs on the Mac) had this functionality, even at its lower price point.
