**Q: What year was this product made? the last one i got was from 2011 & i had to return it.**
A: Hello S. Kane. I don't know what year it was made. I bought it in July 2013 and it lasted for about two months. This product was a waste of money for me, it didn't work.

**Q: when would i be able to see the difference?**
A: I started to notice a difference (they got a little lighter) in about a month or two. I also have very light skin just as a side note incase that makes a difference. I still have stretchmarks but I also didn't consistantly try use it EVERY day but I have a friend who did and it worked much better, also my stretchmarks are very deep which I think contributes to how long and dedicated u have to be so keep that all in mind when expecting results. I'd say 3 months tops u should see some kind of a difference :)

**Q: Does this work for dark stretch marks ?**
A: No. I've used 4 bottles, no changes

**Q: Does this also work for scars?**
A: its great for flat scars.Raised scars/and dark scar you should use mederma gel.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FINALLY! My 18-year-old stretch marks are vanishing!

ME: Age 25 MY SKIN: Very pale; scars and burns easily MY STRETCH MARKS: 15-18 years old, on my inner thighs, left over from a massive growth spurt. They are (were!) silvery-purple, and sunk into my skin about an eighth of an inch. Their appearance and texture made it VERY easy to imagine my muscles and bones growing and my "skin suit" literally tearing to keep up. MY RESULTS: After THREE DAYS of using this product 2x a day, the surface of my skin is COMPLETELY SMOOTH! Any hint of purple is totally gone. I'm overjoyed and will update this review after 4 and 12 weeks have elapsed. (<< Mederma claims you will start to see results after 4 weeks; optimal results after 12 weeks) I poured over these reviews and many online articles about Mederma Stretch Mark Removal Cream before I made my purchase. I was hopeful, but hesitant because some folks seemed to really not be getting results. After my transformative experience, I can't help but feel that some must not be following the directions to a T. For your best possible results: 1. Exfoliate your skin. Not only will this prepare your skin to receive the product, but it will stimulate blood circulation to the area so your skin gets the vital oxygen and nutrients it needs to rebuild itself. I simply use a regular loofa with a moisturizing body wash to gently scrub each affected area in small circles for about 45 seconds while I'm in the shower. 2. Apply Mederma correctly. I use about a dime-sized drop (for 7 x 4 inches of skin) and massage it slowly into my skin, moving in small circles. I do so twice a day: once in the morning, after I shower; and once in the evening, before bed. I make sure to let the product dry completely before putting on clothes or slipping between the sheets. 3. Keep your skin hydrated. Apply lotion (lotions infused with aloe and Vitamin E will help restore elasticity and tighten skin) and drink enough water. AND THAT'S IT! If you're on the fence about this product, I urge you to give it a try. The change to the surface of my skin and the visibility of my stretch marks is incredible. One final selling point:This Amazon price ($27 at the time of my purchase) is 30% cheaper than what I found in stores. Purchasing from Amazon was even cheaper than a local Group on deal (including shipping).

I’m not one to write reviews unless they’re negative usually but this was such an incredible product that I needed to share my experience with it. I’ve tried all kinds of products for my last pregnancy (6 years ago) and never found one that I liked leaving me with a lot of stretch marks. This time around I was determined to find some thing that did not feel sticky or stay in my clothes and that also smells very good and was effective. I tried all kinds of items like Burts bees, bio oil and Mamma Mio and Body Merry, and I was NOT satisfied! I either did not like the smell or did not like the way it spread, or did not see results. I am so happy I finally found this product!!!!!! It spreads great and absorbs well so my clothes don’t feel gross when I get dressed, smells great, great price, and guarantees results! I have not gotten any new stretch marks and I am 7 months pregnant and can hardly see the post stretch marks from my last pregnancy Now ask well which I have had them for 6 years! I am so happy and highly recommend!!!!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ So who else is wondering about the placebo effect?

Im on the fence.. i havent bought this product or tried it yet.. and i am still doing my research in comparison of other methods. I just wanted to point out alot of people have mentioned this product is supposed to be used on new stretch marks. Well... new stretch marks are angry and red right? New stretch marks are eventually going to fade somewhat and smooth out a bit as they heal (though we know not completely). So really.. is it all that successful of a product if you are using it and seeing "some" improvement when your body is naturally taking care of that on its own? I would like a more accurate gauge of how significant these improvements are, in conjuction with you bodies own natural healing. The inability to improve older stretch mark is what makes this fishy to me. UPDATE: Ended up purchasing the product to see for myself.. and it seems to be working well enough. It does indeed seem to speed up the process and the color fading though dont expect miracles. I like the smell of it too, though it is somewhat reminicent of the smell of hair salon when you first walk in( to me anyway). All in all, this is my second pregnancy im recovering from and the stretch marks are indeed fading faster this time with the maderma then my first recovery without the use of any product.
