Getting it in a bag is a lot cheaper. What we do is we have a old rscp salt bucket and we just transfer it into there. I have bought from this company for almost 2 years through Amazon. You can't beat the price. I have only had two bags in two years come slightly damaged but we're tapped. But the salt was fine. **Q: Does this come packed as one large bag, or several smaller bags within the large one like the Instant Ocean 200 gallon pack?** A: This salt comes in one large bulk bag. **Q: Can anyone tell me how much this bag weighs?** A: 25k is around 55lbs, it feels lighter when it's stale and solid. When it's fresh and mushy the bag is hard to manage. I ended up poring what I didn’t use immediately into the redsea bucket from my last order so it wouldn’t draw as much moisture. It will not all fit in that bucket as it is much more in this bag.
