Well made!
This quality pump works great for my 90 gallon saltwater aquarium water changes. And is cheaper than the brands on the aquarium stores.

Pumps straight up to the Tank
Wow, I love this submergible pump, I use it in a bucket while Iโm doing a water change to put my fresh Salt water back into my fish tank. For years Iโve used a powerhead on the end of a hose, but the problem is the powerhead never wants to work midway through. But this merge a pump stand and a pump together.I will never go back to using a powerhead as a pump, it the Submersible Water Pump,Ultra-Quiet for me going forward forever...

Pretty good
It isn't quite as powerful as I had hoped. It barely lifts water to the advertised height, and pumps at a slow rate. It worked OK for draining a flooded stairwell.

Did not pump at stated rate
I don't know if I got a bad one or what but this one did not pump at the rate it stated. Returned for another brand.

Powerful
I bought this as part of an engineering project for my university. They are powerful, and was able to push 100 Liters of water a height of3 feet in under 20 minutes.

Missing parts on arrival
Pump seems to work OK. It arrived with only one output adapter, there are supposed to be two.Only two of the five little rubber feet on the bottom were present. I improvised to make it work for me because I needed it to work immediately or I would have returned it due to missing parts.

falsely portraying the product
I bought this to play with some pump design. It is obvious that the company that makes this is heavily into looks and creating an illusion of function. First they give it the shape of real sump/utility pumps, even putting a handle on it which is the ultimate illusion. You are never going to carry it by the handle. it fits in the palm of your hand. But the most disappointing and disgusting from a design aspect is that there are many outside structures making you think this pump is well designed and will move a tremendous amount of water. BUT all those slits are to fool the buyer. they look great. And yet all the water that flows through the pump is restricted to the .75 inch hole right around the impeller. And it gets even worse...the actual housing for the impeller is restricted down to a 1/2 inch (approximate) when it exits the actual pump. When I opened the body up the pump takes up less than 1/4 of the volume. Many smaller pumps are designed to pump water and not deceive the buyer. Buy one of them.It isn't worth the money. I am tearing it apart further just to play with an idea I had of using different impeller/propellers. Fortunately I have some RC propellers that might be small enough to see if what I want to do with a much larger pump will work before I put out the money for the more expensive motors and props.
